It went very well. The only thing that I was unhappy is the door but they are very professional

The whole process took about two weeks from the sale to the installation. The installation of the four closets took about seven hours to complete. The closets turned out great, I am very happy with the result. I had no problems working with any member of their staff, everyone was professional and responsive.

Everything turned out fine. The quality is still holding up well five years later. I was impressed with their product and its high quality. They were professional to work with.

The guy came over with all the new shelving that had been all measured out. When he was almost all the way through the first closet I realized the walls in the closet needed to be painted. I had always thought that the shelving they installed included backing that covered the walls of the closet, but it didn't. The shelves were gleaming white and I had these crummy old walls. I called and she explained I could still paint the walls. I hired someone to paint the walls but it was a difficult task because the shelves were already installed. The product is good but I felt they should have given me more information upfront.

It was an excellent experience. Barbara the sales person was very knowledgable and helpful. The installer was on time, efficient and did an excellent job. I met with Barbara and she came to the new house before we moved in to measure. They were able to schedule us in the time frame we wanted. The installation took about a few hours. I was referred to them by my sister who had used them prior and was pleased with their work.

I had no problems with the service. The quality is holding up really well two years later. I have been very pleased. The installer was nice. The designer was great to work with and responsive to the one issue I had.

I e-mailed California Closets and was immediately referred to the store in Chicago. Pam Zelke responded to my inquiry and set a date for an in-house consultation. She recommended space saving designs for a reach-in hall closet and a small walk-in. Her ideas were based on my needs and closet uses. After her visit she e-mailed a copy of each closet design. I asked for a minor change on one design, and she immediately e-mailed a corrected version. Installation was done when I was ready, since I had to wait for painting to be completed prior to closet installation. The installer was very professional and the installation process was smooth. I have more closet space thanks to Pam's expert designs.

The house visit went OK, the designer was overly chatty, but he had decent ideas. The thing is, we never got his designs or estimate. No call, no email, no postal mail, he just fell off the face of the earth.

While the project has been delayed until this fall, we have every intention of calling David this fall and going forward with the plans. We met with two other companies and California Closet's professionalism, responsiveness, and designs clearly exceeded the other two companies.

Tim - the interior designer at CC took us through the options, and drew up one closet. As things dragged on, he put on a DVD for the kids at the store to keep them occupied. As we expanded the design, he made sure we were happy with the functionality and the style. He kept his appointment later that week, confirmed the design (with minor modifications), and made an appointment for the installers. Installers came on time, installed everything, and after they noticed a gap between the closet and the wall, HAND TRIMMED a piece of shelving to close the gap. Very professional, very friendly, excellent customer oriented service.

The estimate was higher than their competitors, but the quality of the material was much better. Working with Sarah was a pleasure, she was open to my suggestions and not very pushy. My experience was very good and I would use them again!

California Closets arrived in a timely manner. The installer was professional and cleaned up after the work was fully installed. California closets allowed us the flexibility to design two closets that fit our needs in terms of storage and practicality. California Closets was also very upfront about their delivery time. We even received our installations ahead of schedule. Additionally, they met a direct, competitors slightly, lower price.

Very positive. Pam is very professional and didn't try to push the high-end items on me. She answered all of my questions and did a great job with the design. I can honestly say that she used every square inch of my tiny closet space to its full potential. My only probem was with the installation. One of the closets wasn't measured properly and couldn't be installed as planned. Pam handled the situation with absolute professionalism though. She had the new parts made the next business day and then installed them herself on July 4. This problem explains why I'm giving them a ''B'' in Quality of Work - otherwise, the quality is fantastic.

Pam the designer who came out was very prompt and had called the previous day to confirm and suggest things we should think about. Pam was very helpful in suggesting ways we could arrange the space and make maximum use of the closet space. As we discussed the two spaces we had discussed, we also went to discuss an adjoining hallway closet and asked her to bid on that as well. We really liked the design but she had forgotten to do the one on the hallway closet. There design was much better than another closet company we had selected from Angies List but pricing was much worse. However we went with them because of the design. Pam later sent us design on hallway closet but it was not as innovative and helpful as the other two designs so we decided to defer that work. Installation took about 4 hours to do and the installer came promptly that morning and set up both closets and did good job cleaning up and explaining how to use. Total cost was reduced by a 10% rebate given.
