Vasile is the best. Dedicated, hard-working, great at communicating, and honest. He's a master at his craft and we couldn't be happier with the results of his work. He and his team removed carpet from the upstairs of our home and refinished the original maple hardwood floors. They ran into a couple of challenges along the way, one example being large missing sections in each room where the original floor vents had been which they replaced with old maple that blends seamlessly. They handled everything with great care and attention to detail and the floors look amazing now. We are so thankful we found Vasile and cannot recommend him highly enough. He really cares about his craft and takes the time to get it right. He also seems like a really kind person, good-humored and pleasant to work with. His assistant Ed was great too.

Vasile is a perfectionist and it shows. You need not worry about the quality of his work, ad he is a true craftman. He artfully pieced 57 new, white oak boards together where a wall had been removed. You would think these boards had been there originally! Vasile, Eddie and Dominick worked tirelessly and were very helpful and patient with me in selecting the right stain and finish. My floors are beautiful and I thank C V Hardwood Co. for it.

My floors went from drab to fab! Competing and fair pricing, we got 2 other quotes and chose vasile and his company based off not just price, but quality, our floors look absolutely amazing. The crew was professional and on time every day. I loved getting a play by play through text message all day long, it was great seeing the work being done and completed when they said. They replaced several sagging and chipped boards, as well as the thresholds. Job well done!

CV Flooring was very professional. Vasile the owner and his crew arrived on time. They covered up the area with protective plastic and went right to work. Vasile was very helpful with suggested designs prior to installation. CV Flooring is the real deal when it comes to hardwood floors. After the installation was complete, Vasile and his crew left the work area very clean and Vasile himself assisted me with returning the furniture back in place. I must say that I have the most meticulous wife in the world. She is very hard to please and I must say that when the CV Flooring completed the job, my wife was very, very pleased with the installation which added instant value to our home. As an interior designer, it’s so important for me to find good quality companies to perform tasks for me in client homes. After not having great flooring outcomes in the past, I was nervous to dive in again. Vasile made it so easy and was great to work with. He was very knowledgeable and I’m thrilled to finally find a good quality company to work on floors with. They even matched some badly damaged wood and made it look cohesive and flawless! Received advice about simple repairs we could do ourselves, and quickly outlined the procedure and cost for the work they would be doing. Scheduled the work according to my calendar and were prompt, super clean, and did an excellent job. they were able to match our 100+ year old floors perfectly. Excellent, I hired this same company about 18 years ago. They are fantastic, on time, professional, polite. The floors were in bad shape, lots of repairs to do before refinishing could be done, the floor looks brand new now.

Vasile removed from an old closet floor some of the woodplanks since ours are so rare and difficult to purchase. He did a very neat job and then replaced the damaged ones. After applying the stain and finish, it was difficult to even find the replaced boards.

From the free estimate process, to scheduling the installation, all the way through the clean up process, Vasile did an amazing job with our new bamboo floor installation. My wife and I were looking to replace 324 sq. ft. of carpet with bamboo flooring. We took care of the removal of the old carpet and underlayment, as well as the purchase of the flooring materials. We asked several different companies to come to our house and provide an estimate for installation (based on the above situation). Vasile provided a written estimate (with all the particulars spelled out clearly), and provided detailed information about what to buy, how to let the wood acclimate to the temperature & humidity in the space, and the process for the installation. The quoted price was the best of all we received, and when we had the materials laid out in the hallway, we were able to schedule the installation within a few days. Vasile and his colleague arrived at the scheduled time, and they were able to finish the installation within one day. The floor looks amazing, the molding is seamless, and they did a very thorough job of keeping dust down to a minimum and cleaning up after the installation was complete. He even offered to help move the remaining materials into our garage for us. After the installation was complete, he provided helpful suggestions to ensure that the floor is not scratched. We are THRILLED with our new bamboo floor!!! We will definitely hire Vasile if we have any future flooring projects and will recommend him to anyone looking for flooring work.

I called CV because they did an excellent job refinishing our living room and dining room 12 years ago. Vasile told me that if I had the time, I could do the work required on these two small bedrooms myself. He was right. I'm retired from work, so time is more plentiful than money now.. With Vasile's advice and resources, I'm 98% finished with the bedroom floor refinishing. It taken twice the amount of time I originally thought it would take, but I'm happy with the results. I highly recommend CV Hardwood Flooring. I've had nothing but positive experiences with Vasile and his group.

I was having my kitchen remodeled and wanted to have my tile floor removed and a hardwood floor installed. I called three contractors for estimates and decided to go with CV because Vasile impressed me with his knowledge and detailing of what needed to be done and also his estimate. Other contractors had said the kitchen floor would be slightly higher than the living room floor it butted up to given the underlayment for the tile flooring, but Vasile said he would fix it so where the floors met would be level. So though I rarely go with the lowest estimate I receive, I decided to give CV a Try and I was not disappointed in any way. CV removed the tile and the cement underlayment and installed new plywood underlayment and wood flooring in the kitchen and hallway butting up to a computer room. The flooring in the kitchen and computer room connect with my living room and hallway wood flooring. It was important that the stain from the kitchen and computer room match the other wood flooring. A contractor who had previously refinished the computer was unable to match the color in the hallway and it looked disjointed. Vasile removed a piece of flooring from the living room which was going to be covered by cabinets and took it to a store where they were able to perfectly match the color. When I picked up the stain from the store and told them what a wonderful job Vasile did installing the flooring they said "Vasile is a true craftsman" and one they recommend without hesitation. They also said there were many wood flooring installers who come into their store for stain who they would never recommend. The job CV Hardwood Flooring did installing the flooring and refinishing was beautiful. I can't say enough good things about them. I highly recommend Vasile and CV Hardwood Flooring.

Fabulous! Vasile provided me with a written quote detailing exactly what he would do. He provided me with color samples and photos of work from previous jobs. He kept me updated via text throughout the entire process. Will be using him again in the spring for my bedrooms. Quality work.

Vasile and his team have done a wonderful job. I am amazed by Vasile’s responsiveness and attentiveness. Throughout the process he sent photos and FaceTimed and went out of his way to make sure we were getting what we wanted. The team was also more efficient than I ever thought possible- they worked really hard to get the work done prior to our move in date. The quality of Vasile’s work is top notch- I highly recommend.

Vasile was very helpful from the start with his estimate. He encouraged us to take our time and choose the right product and to view our floors as a long term investment. After getting quotes from many other companies, C V had the best price for labor (we provided all materials). We had about 500 sq. ft. pre-finished solid and 300 sq. ft. matching engineered hardwood installed with new baseboards/trim. Vasile and his team were very pleasant to work with. After a couple of months living with the new floors, I am generally satisfied with the work performed. I gathered from the install that C V doesn't often work with pre-finished flooring as it seemed they were reactive to the product rather than proactive as may have occurred if it was unfinished. Some trim/threshold work was great, like cutting in around the fireplace and stairs, some is mediocre (e.g., using quarter round rather than shoe base where shoe base was pre-existing, cutting baseboard at a 90 degree angle whereas rest of house is on a 45, etc.). I feel that we got a good deal and I would hire CV again but I would be much more explicit in what I wanted done for finishing touches.

In a word, "Flawless". CV Hardwood came through for me once again! I posted a review on Angie's List back in 2008 when CV Hardwood originally installed some Tigerwood flooring in my condo. Fast forward 10 years later and I called on them to replace some of the flooring due to a stain that could not be removed. I reached out to Vasile and reminded him of who I was and how pleased I was with the original installation. He got back to me within a few days, but once contact was made, he hit the ground running! He asked me to send photos of the stain so that he could get a sense of the size of the job and perhaps provide suggestions for removing the stain. After seeing the photos, he decided that he needed to come out and assess the job first hand in order to provide a true estimate. I had some flooring material left over from the original installation back in 2008, so he determined that they would be able to use that to complete the job. Being that the condo is now serving as rental property, I was working under a tight time-frame of only a few days between the time that my previous tenant moved out and my new tenant was scheduled to move in. Since the job was fairly small, CV Hardwood said that they could begin the job later that day and have it completed the following day. I was shocked! I was very pleased with the project as Vasile kept me posted on the progress of the project by providing pictures at every step in the process, took great care in cleaning up after the job was completed, and even informed me that I needed to check with my condo's property management company to inform them that I was having contractors doing work in my unit and he provided me with his company's Certificate of Insurance (I had no idea I even needed this!).
