C Murphy & Murphy

I was really pleased with the services provided. I called the company for my parents' home. They are elderly and residing in the house. I live in a different city. Johnny Murphy responded quickly to my phone call. Came out the same day. He was very kind and helpful and dealt with the family with grace. (My father has mild dementia.) Mr. Murphy kept me informed of everything that was happening and went the extra mile, in my opinion. He bought the needed materials and used them for the project quickly and professionally. Initially I thought the fee was a little high, but knowing that it took several hours to assess the work, buy the materials, come back and do the projects, plus 'care and feeding' of my parents, it was worth every penny. I'm happy to recommend the company.

He does excellent work and is a general contractor. I recommend him to all my friends and family.

The owner of the company responded promptly to my request for an estimate, discussed needs and options at length, and arranged for the work to be done quickly and well.

Overall, this kitchen remodel was wonderful. Charlie is on the job everyday. He listened to what I wanted and made it happen. He took care of all the permits and inspections. Everyday I saw progress in my kitchen. He would keep me informed of any challenges that he encountered and we would decide on a resolve. He would also clean up and broom sweep everyday after the workmen left. The cabinets are amazing. We love the granite counters with the tile backsplash. I am very pleased with the new lighting. We replaced a ceiling fan with new can lights and low voltage under cabinet lights. And installed a new dishwasher. (This house never had a dishwasher). We did encounter some electrical and plumbing issues, that were expected, as the house is 91 years old with original mechanicals. The wood floors turned out beautiful. They match they original floors wonderfully. The entire job took about 4 weeks. I am very happy with this remodel. I am going to use Charlie again and would highly recommend him.
