C & N SERVICE CO

I quickly went through Angie's list, purposely skipping the big companies that send trainees to service calls and rely on them to describe what they see to experienced workers over the phone. I wanted a small company whose owners are also the service men. Professionals that know what they're doing and aren't trying to impress they're bosses back at the office by making unnecessary or inflated sales. After a few calls (First one didn't answer, 2nd couldn't come till late afternoon) I talked to Nate over the phone. I described my problem and he told me he could stop by around noon. To my happy surprise, he showed up early. My Unit is old, so before looking at it, Nate told me if he can fix it he will give me some options, if not, there would be no charge because he was already in the neighborhood on another call. I chose the option that worked best for me and as luck would have it, he had all the replacement parts on his truck and was able to get my unit going in a couple of hours. He performed an inspection of my condenser, and cleaned the blower housing thoroughly. The unit ran smoothly and quieter than before. Overall, I am very satisfied with the quick, professional service I received. Nate is a No Nonsense Professional that I would strongly recommend to others and definitely hire again.

My AC unit went out on July 4th, and when I called them, they came out on that day, worked for a few hours, and had my AC unit running again. He also just charged me for the service call without overtime pay.

I think they are very friendly, helpful and think they are very honest. In the past, they talked me through fixing my pilot light without charging me.

We've been using Chris and Nate for a few years for routine a/c maintenance and at least one emergency service.  They have a lot of clients in our (now former) condo building.  We were selling our unit and wanted to have C&N come out to make sure the a/c looked good and to patch a small gap in the ductwork because our buyer's inspector noted it in his inspection report.  Nate took a look at our a/c unit on the roof and at everything in the actual unit and said everything looked great.  He told me that the patching with foam tape was completely unnecessary (which I knew, but we were dealing with a picky buyer), but that he was happy to do it and it was a nominal cost anyway.  He wrote everything up in his report, noting that the a/c was perfect and he had patched the gap --- and the buyer was happy.  We'll absolutely use them in the future.  

Two brothers, Chris and Nate, arrived at my home to look at my furnace. It took them 10 minutes to find the problem. They gave me a quote price for the repair and said it would take about an hour to finish up. I was also given a one year warranty on the newly replaced part. They were very clean and polite with their work habits. When they finished the job, they explained everything and asked if I had any questions.
