For the past 3 weeks I have had 1 window per week broken in my condo building by neighborhood troublemakers.  Each time I called Steve at Busy Bee in the middle of the night and he sent his workers out to board up the broken windows.  They arrived every time within 1 hour of my call.  Always very professional and competent in their work, they did some little extras like sweeping up small pieces of glass from the sidewalk before leaving.  I hope I won't have to keep having windows boarded up, but if I do, I am confident that Busy Bee will be there to protect the security of my home.

They guy that came out was prompt. It was pretty late in the evening when we called him. He came out and did a pretty good job. It was really quick. I called around, and they were able to come out the fastest and had the best price.

I can't put into words how refreshing it was dealing with this company.  I had a late night emergency after heavy snow fell in my area.  The awning on the 2nd floor of a 3-flat I own got crushed by the snow and ripped out of the brick.  Basically it was hanging there and about to either break the glass of the second floor apartment, or fall off the building and do even more damage.  It was about 11pm on a Friday night and I started calling any company I could that said they had "emergency services."  However, most of them sounded like I was waking them up or disturbing them.  Finally, I found Busy Bee on the internet and gave them a call.  The man that answered at about 12am (I'm sorry I forgot his name) sounded wide awake and completely professional.  He told me he'd have someone out within a half hour or so and he actually did!  Although the job was too big for the single tech that was on call at the time (it was a large awning on the second floor), the tech still went up there to make sure that the awning was strong enough to at least make it to the morning.  The man I had spoken with earlier called me back and assured me he'd have 2 guys out there in the morning to take it down altogether for me.  Sure enough, he followed through and had it taken down.  The amazing part in my mind is that not only did they have outstanding customer service, but they didn't make me pay a crazy price for using their emergency service and then sending two guys.  I thought the $250 they billed me was extremely fair.  I can't count the number of times I've been utterly disappointed dealing with companies during an emergency situation.  These guys were incredibly helpful.  It was a refreshing experience to say the least and I'd without a doubt recommend these guys!

i called busy bee to board up my broken window and then provide the replacement window. they came and boarded it up and that service was OK. However, after 3 separate appointments, the glass tech still did not have enough information to order the window. i called Brenda the owner to express my frustration. She did nothing to remedy the situation. While they did an OK job with the board up, i would highly discourage anyone from using them for a window install.
Response from A Busy Bee Board Up & Glass
"to respond to the above post buzy bee board up did complete the emergency service at above property during the blizzard where 95% of the city were indoors or stuck. we serviced over 30 calls that evening and next day. the correct description was a skylite not a "window" that was dangerous to get to on third floor. this is not a typical glass installation especially in sub zero blizzard conditions. arrainging the equiptment to reach the skylite took two days but client felt that was too long. buzy bee acted promptly and professionally. in the future i wish customers would understand safety and precautions that we must take in our line of work. putting a worker on that roof in those conditions would have been irresponsible and unsafe. it is easy to write a complaint fore a service no one would have done but us."
