We did a complete renovation of our family home. Our contractor Cobblestone Development/now Cobblestone Remodeling, 3066 N. Clybourn Ave, Chicago….Recommend Builder’s Cabinet. That’s the only good thing that came out of Cobblestone Remodeling was the great recommendation and leading us to Ronnie Quinones. We had Ronnie Q. as our designer for our kitchen and 2 bathrooms. He is professional, knowledgeable, experienced, and patient. He worked with us, took in our ideas, our vision, needs, wants and put his skills to work. His attention to details, honesty, gave us the confidence, and made it easy to work with Builder’s Cabinet. Even though we had some glitches, Ronnie went above and beyond the call of duty to make things right. He made sure we were happy, satisfied, and got what we paid for. Through all the ups and downs of our home remodeling project….We had numerous problems with Cobblestone Remodeling….DON’T hire them!!!! Ronnie was there for us and his product. I would also like to give kudos to Eric from BC who also helped us. I would highly recommend BC, there team and especially Ronnie Q.

Met Mike through a family referral.  Visited the showroom and spent several weeks working out the kitchen layout, then the cabinet specs.  Mike was extremely helpful with suggestions and patiently answered all of our questions.  Cabinets are made to order and take about 6 weeks for delivery.  All cabinets arrived fully protected in cardboard and we did not have a single damaged piece.  Our contractor handled the installation and has worked with Builders Cabinet before, a definite plus when it came time to resolving questions from the drawings.  We ordered extra crown moulding in the same finish as the cabinets which proved to be a costly add-on but really ties the room together.  We ordered slide-out drawers for the pantry and some of the larger cabinets.  Those have proven to be very useful.  Added end panels that give the kitchen a very finished look.  We ordered furniture legs for the island that were integrated with the base cabinets for a great look.  Two doors were slightly warped but were replaced with no hesitation.  We love the results and have received many compliments from family and friends.

I met with Rani Jain - this has been the worst experience I have ever had.  First she designed something that the factory couldn't build and brushed it off as "too bad" even though it cut out a significant amount of storage space.  Then, she missed the delivery date by 16 days.  Then she shipped them COD without telling me that was the case and the driver wouldn't let the contractor sign for them.  Then when the contractor was putting things together we discovered the cabinets were the wrong size for the appliances even though I gave her all of the spec sheets for the appliances at our first meeting - obviously she never looked at them.  Yes, that was after I had now paid for the cabinets in full.  Then, she again missed a delivery deadline on the replacement cabinets.  It is now 27 days past the original promised date.  I have the wrong cabinets sitting all over my space, the contractors who should have completed the job 2 weeks ago have moved on to other jobs and i will have to pay them royally to get them back outside the scheduled time.  I can't even schedule the countertop installer because i have no idea when i may have cabinets.  SHOULD ANYONE EVER USE THIS COMPANY - ABSOLUTELY NOT!  I have another kitchen I was planning to do this fall - but if I do it I will not use Builders.  The cabinets that are spread all over my space are absolutely beautiful, they just don't fit in the space they were designed for.

We are so pleased with the outcome of kitchen and so happy we ran into Paul Herrold.  Originally I was looking at another brand cabinet with another company, but due to limited services, I called around and am so glad I did.  I called the store and talked with Paul when he was in between working with customers.  I was impressed by Paul's ability to visually put together in his head some of the layout challenges I was work with in kitchen.  This helped so much when came out to our house, and right away was able to come up solutions to get around the structural columns in my kitchen.  His easy mannered and no-nonsense approach quickly got us going in the right direction.  I was so relieved that their cabinet making was on-site and they seems to be able to do 'everything and anything' that was required to make the kitchen look custom made.  Being on a strict budget, their offering has something for everyone.  Paul was always accessible and had the best ideas.  I really enjoyed working with Paul and Builder's Cabinet Supply!

He was very easy to work with, they were responsive and very capable of taking my custom considerations. They were pretty punctual. I waited a little longer than I anticipated for a couple of things, but it wasn't an extreme difference and they were good about keeping me updated. The price was very competitive for the custom work and the staff was friendly. I did several custom pieces with them and my only hesitation is that there were a couple places of craftsmanship where things needed to be fixed, but they were very forth coming about taking care of it and making sure it got fixed.

We had a very good experience with this company, despite some poor reviews on Angie's list. Sara Summey was a great sales person who listened to our needs, accomodated our requests, and came to our home more than once to ensure all the details were accurately captured and measurements were correct. Products were delivered on schedule and as ordered and look great. There were a few small details that needed to be fixed, but they were fixed promptly and with no issues from the company or Sara. Because they make the cabinets in Chicago, we were able to order special sizes that would not have been accomodated at other places. We were also able to do some creative things that again, would not have been easy or inexpensive to do elsewhere. Our experience beginning to end was very positive.

Builders Cabinet Supply was recommended by the architect who worked on our home. After shopping around (Lowe's, Home Depot, Studio 41, even Ikea), and being on an extremely tight budget, we decided to visit them at their Factory and Showroom on Western Ave. We made an appointment with salesperson Chris Klein and went in to look at our options. They seem to not only have every available style, finish, and wood, but also lots of options for customizing your cabinets as well - such a full drawer extension and Blumotion soft closing system for your drawers. After reviewing our blueprints and measurements we scheduled a time for her to come out and measure the space. She showed up on time and made short work of the job. We discussed options as she took measurements, and she was out of there in about half-an-hour. Very painless. After making a few changes, additions, and discussing pricing we placed our order. A few weeks later we got the call that our cabinets were ready to be delivered. They were even a few weeks ahead of schedule. A few days later the guys showed up with all the cabinets, loose parts (such as toe-kicks and extra panels), and paperwork, and loaded everything in and were gone on down the road. Months have gone by now, we have installed the cabinets and they look great! We've even placed a new order with them for a bathroom vanity (which has since been delivered and installed) and are currently awaiting another order for a few kitchen cabinets we've decided to add.
