Actually the floor is even more beautiful than we ever anticipated, Cheri and Rob helped us choose bamboo flooring which we weren't really thinking of when we started the project. My only regret is that we didn't meet Rob Rubin sooner and do our floors years ago. We could have been enjoying these floors for a lot longer. Honestly, we just love the floors and working with Rob Rubin and Bucktown Builders was a very pleasant experience.
Description of Work: Rob Rubin owns the business and everything about Mr. Rubin and his workmen was totally professional. They put down bamboo flooring in a high-rise, condo in the living room/dining area, entry area and some halls. The workmanship was just fabulous and they way they had to keep moving all of our furniture around and around to lay the flooring was a magnificent feat in itself. They also really understood working with and reserving a loading dock in a high rise bldg., and getting their tools in. Trust me, working in a high-rise is more complex they working in a single family home on a ground level, and Mr. Rubin and his people really understood the process and reality of working in a high-rise. Their business process includes working with a designer. The one we worked with was a Ms., Cheri Bleser who is a terrific talent. She helped my husband and I select a terrific flooring product and color and she explained that a darker floor against lighter walls would make the rooms look larger and it's amazing but the whole condo looks so much bigger. Plus, Cheri helped us pick great looking floor molding and a really nice affordable rug to tie all the living room furniture together. This was a great outfit and I would definitely use them again, and recommend them to friends, family and neighbors.
