I have used Bow Wow Meow several times now when I travel out of town (sometimes for 1 day, other times 3-4 days) and will continue to do so. Heather is a pleasure to work with. She pays a great deal of attention to detail and knows how to set an owners mind completely at ease. My home is always clean, in order and just as I have left it. Most importantly, my cat seems well cared for when I return. Heather is great about keeping in constant contact while I am away and sending me photo updates.

I cannot say enough positive things about Heather.  We've had her sit for our cat multiple times over the past two years and she is amazing. It is clear that this is more than just a job for her and that she takes an interest in the pets. Heather's text updates and pictures are not only reassuring while we're traveling, but also a way for us to feel connected to our cat.
If there was an option for A+ ratings, Bow Wow Meow would get them across the board. Best pet sitters we've ever used!

Ryan did an excellent job in taking care of my cats while I was on vacation.  He even got Santa to visit them! 

Heather did a phenomenal job of taking care of my two cats. We had a pre-trip consultation where she took detailed notes. She asked pertinent questions and made some great suggestions. I left confident that my cats would be well cared for. Heather emailed me while I was gone to keep me updated. When I came home my cats were happy and healthy. I would not hesitate to us Bow Wow Meow's services in the future.

Everything went really well.  Evan kept me posted on how the dogs were doing the whole time I was gone.  The dogs were very happy and relaxed when I came home so they clearly enjoyed their time with Evan.

Heather (the business owner) and Stephanie (our cat sitter) came to the house for an initial consultation and to get to know my cats. I was impressed with the level of professionalism and responsiveness that they both exhibited and felt comfortable leaving my kitties in their care. Stephanie took care for our two cats for a week. She fed them, played with them and cleaned the cat box. She kept us updated on how our "kids" were doing by text as well as making sure we were home on schedule so that the cats would not be left alone if we were delayed. When we arrived home we had two happy cats! I'm so glad to have found a pet sitting service I can depend on!

This was our first time using a professional cat sitter and Bow Wow Meow did a fantastic job making that experience a good one! Heather is very accommodating and worked us into her schedule last minute. She came over initially for a meet and greet and was incredibly thorough, making detailed notes of all of our kitty's needs and ours as well. Her communication was stellar. I got text updates and pictures of our little fella each time she visited. Not only that, she left a written log of their activities together. Bow Wow Meow is the best and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing pet sitting services.

This was not my first experience with Bow Wow Meow; we first came into contact with Heather when she found my dog roaming through our building Christmas 2009; our house-sitter had left our front door wide open. Since that day, Heather has watched Stella at least a dozen times. Stella stays at Heather's house, has lots of backyard space to roam and receives loads of love and attention. Every time Heather comes to the door, Stella jumps into her arms! A great sign that things are going well. I highly recommend this business. Definitely the place to send your pup when you're going on vacation. I never worry when I leave my pooch:)

Heather and her team of pet sitters went above and beyond to care for our feisty kitty, Winston. Bow Wow Meow was great about scheduling, charged fair prices, ALWAYS showed up when scheduled, and sent us texts/emails with pictures and updates when we were away for more than one or two nights. Our cat was a bit of a handful, but you would never know it from how lovingly Heather's team talked about our cat and how enthusiastically greeted him. I never had a minute of concern when they were watching Winston. I would HIGHLY recommend Bow Wow Meow. 

As always, Ryan provided us with excellent service and treats our kitties, Sophie and Tucker, like they are his own!

Bow Wow Meow is professional, reliable, affordable, responsive and delightful. Sam walks our two dogs every day, makes sure they have enough water for the afternoon, gives them each a treat, and leaves us a note about how it went. If we have a last minute need or change of plans, Bow Wow Meow has always been able to accommodate us. We couldn't ask for anything more from our dog walking service!

Heather and Ryan went above and beyond to ease my worried mind. I've had bad experiences in the past with pet sitters. I was able to book a last minute visit, Ryan texted pics and updates, and most importantly my very shy and anxious kitty was relaxed and happy when I came home. I would highly recommend.

It's been outstanding. I love the fact that Ryan, who came to play and clean things up for my cat, was such a cat lover. He just made her time alone wonderful while I was gone. She was happy as could be. He's great with cats, which is not easy to be. Cats can be very stand-offish. She got very used to playing with him. She's trying to make me be him and play with her more. They're really outstanding and really know what they're doing. I had to cut my trip short. They credited me money for it. They gave me the choice of whether I wanted the money back or just leave it on my account. I thought that was fantastic. They're very professional. I could not believe how good they were. The prices are good but it adds up. Their basic hours are 10-5 for $15, which is a normal amount for a sitting service. If you go outside those hours, it gets bumped up to $20 a visit. It can certainly add up if you're gone for the weekend. It's the same for a dog. I chose to do it because I wanted someone to come in and see my cat early in the morning, so that she was seen early and not again until maybe 5 o'clock. That was my choice to pay more. I wanted someone here when she was used to being up or close to it as possible. I definitely will use them again. I hope Ryan stays there. My cat absolutely adores him.

BWM took fantastic care of our cats while we were on vacation. Ryan was our pet nanny while we were away and he is amazing. We recently adopted two cats from the shelter and they were still adjusting to their new home during our vacation. Ryan took time to play with them (introducting them to laser tag) and carefully attending to them while we were gone.
Ryan left detailed notes and also texted me every day (he'll accomodate whatever frequency you like) and included pictures of the cats playing each day. It was a huge relief knowing that the cats were in such good hands while we were away.
I highly recommend BWM overall and especially Ryan, as an excellent caregiver for your cats.

As always, Bow Wow Meow is a high quality provider with a very committed staff. They'll even keep a log documenting their visits and/or send you text messages with updates. We've used them several times and recommended them to friends.

In the case of cat sitting, the best is bow wow meow. We use them to check on our cats twice a day when we go on vacation.

Ryan and Heather are the best!  We've never had a single worry with Ryan walking our pups and staying at our house when we travel.  He is always professional, punctual, and responsive, and our dogs love him!  When we first started with Bow Wow Meow after moving to Andersonville, Ryan and Heater came to our house to meet the dogs and tell us about their service and policies, which was very reassuring.  It's great to have a local walker who is extremely accomodating and really cares for our dogs.  Ryan always leaves a daily walk summary, fills the water, and takes the pups on very long walks.  Definitely an A+!

This is really just an update to a previous review. I've been using Heather and Bow Wow Meow's services for 4.5 years and just love her. They are so great to my spunky cat. I don't even feel nervous leaving her anymore (well, not AS nervous) because I know she's in such great hands. Heather recently came to do a walk-through and key swap at my new place, and my cat was so excited to see her! They will even bring in my mail, and have watered plants on super long trips. I love getting home to read through the notebook where they log their visits, what they did with her, how her moods were, etc. They even bring her treats from Santa Paws!
Love them. Worth every penny (which isn't as many pennies as it could be!) 
Can't imagine a trip without them!

My cat is ALWAYS in a great mood when I come home and it is extremely clear she's been very well attended to. Everything is in order and my cat sometimes has a new toy in her arsenal. Heather leaves daily notes to tell me what they've done and she even texts me pictures from time to time. She goes above and beyond my expectations. AND she's affordable.
