BOB'S CUSTOM CONSTRUCTION

Bob is a really nice and professional handyman. He came to my home on short notice and repaired my roof. He is willing to work with my hectic schedule and I will definitely be calling him again.

Working with Bob and his crew has been a real pleasure - they know their stuff and do great work. They keep us informed, help us troubleshoot problems, and have also been flexible with scheduling. Because my husband and I are doing the grunt work (demolition, priming, painting, staining) and leaving the real stuff to the experts, we have been able to keep the costs down. After four months, we are ready to finish the project, but I can't think of a better group of guys to work with!

This was a series of small jobs, so Bob's crew met me at the building in the morning at the appointed time and had everything done and cleaned up by noon. As the work was done in two apartments, the crew came on two separate days to accomodate the tenants' schedules. The crew was respectful, disciplined, and competent, as always.

Overall, things went very well.

Bob and his employees arrived in the morning as planned and began working right away. They are efficient and professional and do high quality work. Everything was finished by mid afternoon and looked great! This is a job we have wanted to have done for many years, but didn't feel it was worth the extremely high cost we had been quoted by another handyman many years ago. The light and the ceiling look wonderful and we are extremely happy with the new lighting and how well the job went from beginning to end. Bob is professional and his pricing is fair. He strives to ensure that his customers are completely satisfied with the job before he considers the job to be finished. Many years ago Bob's employees installed four ceiling fans for us. The job turned complicated because of old wiring in the upstairs ceilings, but Bob went to the extra trouble of correcting the problem and made sure the fans were working well. We are very happy to have the ceiling fans as they have made the upstairs so much more comfortable during the hot summer months. Bob is an extremely kind, honest, and professional business owner with reliable and excellent workers and I highly recommend him for almost any type of work that needs to be done.

Bob came out and gave us a price to complete the whole job. We scheduled a date for the following week, he came on time with his crew of 2, they completed the job exactly in the time frame stated by Bob. Most importantly, Bob was very clear that if we were unsatisfied with any part of the job, he would return and fix it. Several days later we realized that we wanted a change in the rod system of the shelf and we wanted to have the doors adjusted (they were not completely level). Bob set up a time convenient for us to come and do the work. He came, fixed those items, and again stated that if at any time we were not happy with the work to let him know and he would return. This was the most plumb, level, and well made part of our whole house. Also, Bob is the most friendly, upbeat contractor I have ever met. I will recommend him to everyone I know!

They were terrific and pleasant to work with. He was not willing to get the permits, I had to do that myself.

Not only did Bob finish in time, but he managed to paint the bathroom, too. This is just one example of the efficiency and competence of Bob's work. I've called on Bob for many projects at my home and apartment buildings, such as bathroom and kitchen renovations, light installations, plumbing and electrical repairs, and general carpentry. Bob can do anything, and he'll come in a hurry if you need him to. He is especially good at problem-solving and is always kind, accomodating, and very patient. I'll never forget a particularly troublesome basement leak that had us all scratching our heads over where it was coming from. But Bob found the source in a very short time and without resorting to knocking holes in walls. It eases my mind to know I can call him for just about any problem that pops up. You can trust Bob Cox and his crew to do a great job at a reasonable price and to clean up before they leave.

He is really good at listening to the problem. He tries to figure out the best way to do anything before actually doing it. He is really thoughtful, organized and clean.

I'm very pleased with my decision to hire Bob. All work was done per the specifications I requested. The lighting installation was tricky due to the nearly incomprehensible wiring configuration done by a previous contractor, but Bob and his crew managed to figure out how to achieve the effect I wanted. So far, I've only hired Bob for small jobs, but after the positive outcome from the work done thus far, I intend to call on him for additional work.
