We were given a quote then asked to pay 1/2 of the labor and 100% of the materials up front. We wrote a check for that amount. Then we scheduled a time for them to start. We at first asked them to paint after hours and on the weekend so as not to interfere with our work schedule. They showed up late almost everyday (when they showed up at all), then we asked them just to come during the day so that we could get the project done. Once again - late or no show with no phone call. Rarely were calls returned. After three weeks, since our office was then not completed we had to finish the job ourselves. He never purchased all of the materials as promised, so we had to buy paint, etc. We finally fired him. I told him I was going to send him a bill for the paint we had purchased and I wanted him to repay us for some of the money we paid him for labor. I have not heard back from him yet. My advice is STAY AWAY from this company.

I contacted Bluchip through Craigslist and checked references first. Rave reviews plus a very fair price gave me the green light to hire them. They scheduled three days to come in and complete the job, which I was doubtful that they would meet. Other contractors told me longer schedule times. The work was done in a very professional manner, and the quality was exceptional. I was pleased at Jason's knowledge of paint, color choices, and painting. He worked with some existing paint I had, then recommended other paints for the bulk of the job. They even assisted me in moving my furniture. They DID complete the project on time and on budget. I am extremely pleased with this contractor and will be using him again in the future.

They had excellent service. I loved BluChip's decorating ideas! The finished paint job looks sharp!
