I hired this company to remove black mold in basement. They said they needed to use special fans once the project was done. It turns out these fans actually spread the mold throughout the whole house. It was a disaster. The problem was originally contained to the basement and they made it a whole lot worse. They then refused to take responsibility. I had two other companies come in to verify what they had done. Steer clear of this company at all costs.

I got really bad smell in basement, when they come to get me quote, they insure me that they can take of it and also fix couple things in basement. So, they came first time do the job. Did not help at all still strong smell in basement, I called them, and they told me that they will come 2nd time to fix it and they did, but it help a little. I reached to them again. They told me that if I want to get rid of the smell I need to pay they more to come again (but I already pay they $1500) . So, everything they promise to me they did not do. And just stop replying to my massages. Ending up I hired different company, and they get this job done. Stay away from these guys if you do not want to pay twice for same project, they insure they will do for you.

Jonathan was great and my wait time was perfect. They came in, did the job, showed me before and after pictures and cleaned up after they finished.

Jonathan is awesome. He took the time to actually inspect my attic and provided the best options. He was very responsive and there were no hidden cost. I definitely recommend this company. I would love to have rated them higher than a 5!!!

They were very professional honest and showed up on time. Another company to come out and they were trying to pitch me and the idea of me destroy my entire basement to get rid of some mold. The guys at Black rock environmental did not! They even took an air test afterwards confirming everything they said they would do. I strongly recommend them. Two thumbs up!

Our condominium was affected by a long standing leakage, which did not become apparent until after what, we surmised, may have taken several months in the making: As the result of a defect in our 30 year old decaying pipe system. After completing the necessary drying-out process of the flood--followed by an adverse mold analysis report and the warehousing of all our personal belongings--, our personal claims-adjuster referred us to Mr. Tawakali of Chicago Mold Service, Restoration and Construction Services, in order to execute the required demolishing, dismantling and remediation. From the first contact, Mr. Tawakali gave us essentially a master class of what was involved in fully addressing the remediation issues as detailed in the mold analysis report: Four out of six interior areas had tested positive for "black mold" at moisture levels of 95%; 84%; 74% and 46% --versus 29% in the exterior--, when only 17% was acceptable for interior habitation. The kitchen sink was ground zero of the leak, which seeped and permeated through-out floors and walls. The result was the development of an extensive amount of active black mold spores in walls, floors as well as in the air. It took two concentrated efforts in cleaning to address the problem, the first of which took five days for dismantling cabinets, walls and floors in a radius of 5600 cubic feet. After a follow-up test, the second effort took an additional 3 days, because black mold spores were still detectable, and further cleaning had to be undertaken to clean and extract the air out of the apartment until it tested zero spores of the black mold: in all interior areas of concern such as rooms as well as closets. Thanks to the diligence and seriousness of Mr. Tawakaliâ s staff at the end-results were impeccably professional. We concur with our well-listed, independent mold-technician, who complimented them for their superb caliber of execution, and so we strongly recommend Chicago Mold Service.

If you have mold or need water restoration, this is the ONLY business you need to call !!! I am a Realtor and recently listed a home that was found to have a huge mold problem in one bedroom closet. Christopher and his team were so professional, they came out, did their testing and found the issues. They provided estimates, scheduled the work to be done and remediated the mold - most importantly they showed up when they were expected to show up !!! And any questions that we had throughout the process were answered quickly so that we could continue getting the house fixed. They provided a clear air test afterwards allowing me to get the property sold and give the new buyers a healthy home!!!! Thanks Christopher!! I had a flood in my basement caused my a busted pipe. It was at 7pm at night and thought i was stranded until the following morning. Fortunately I landed on Chicago Mold Service and they had come over within the hour! They were diligent stopped the water to the house and sucked up all the standing water that was in the basement. Fortunately they were able to me get this through insurance so everything was covered.

Great company to work with. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was finished correctly and efficiently. They always kept in contact, to give me an update on the work they were performing. Hopefully I wont run into anymore home owner problems after this but if I do, I will be calling them to come out to work on my house again. Awesome! This company picked up after a different business did not provide a good service and I Thoroughly pleased.
