Blackbird Framing and Gallery

Fernando was amazing, patient and art savvy. I spent a great deal of time selecting a frame for my new Dr. Seuss lithograph. This was a major purchase for me and I wanted it to be perfect. My selection was a high quality stunning wood frame. But when I brought the finished work home, I was so disappointed. This beautiful frame did nothing to compliment the art. In fact, it made the work look drab and dead. It was awful! When I called and talked with Fernando he was so compassionate and willing to work with me to change the frame. I brought it back to the shop and he helped me search through many samples. We talked about qualities of the work and what made it special. And voila! The most perfect frame was found. He only charged me for labor on the first framing which I greatly appreciated and thought more than fair. My Dr. Seuss is now bright and alive on my my wall and makes smile each and every day. Michael examined the colors in the painting and suggested various color options for the mat and frame.  He showed me the big difference between regular and museum quality glass.  He completed the order one day earlier than expected, and it was gorgeous.
