Biofoam had to make some adjustments to meet code requirements but our village admitted they did not realize how well this material insulates. They have to adjust codes to this technology. I am very happy with the service and product.

Fabulous! Crew, is kind, neat, clean and courteous. They bagged up 48 lawn/leaf bags full of foam, sweep it all up, covered places with plastic taped down where they don't want foam to go. I highly recommend and have already used them again!

These guys are great! They actually talked me out of wanting as much foam as I thought I needed. They described what was necessary and saved me money. They do superior work and their prices can't be beat. I had hired a different company after taking in 5 or 6 estimates for one apartment. Those guys were like the Keystone Cops of foaming. Ridiculous. It appears they're now out of business. The point of sharing that is to underline how good Biofoam is. I hired Biofoam for a different floor and was amazed at their honesty, professionalism, quality and price! It's not often you get the best quality for the best price. I have had friends use them to the same result. I will be hiring them again in a couple weeks for another ceiling, and later as more apartments come on line.

We got estimates from two different foam insulation companies and decided to go with Biofoam after negotiating the price a bit. Biofoam initially seemed a bit more attentive and knowledgeable. They were quick with the estimate and scheduling in order to allow us to take advantage of the Peoples Gas rebate. The individual who gave us the estimate was on-site the morning of installation with two other employees. The truck was much bigger than we anticipated - they had requested we block a parking spot but we didn't block enough space so they had to double park all day on our street. They did not really do anything to prevent tracking dirt/mud in from outside or from the attic when they were walking through our house which I found a bit disappointing. A lazy attempt was made in the bedroom that our attic is off of -- a small plastic tarp laid on the floor, but not taped or held in place. No booties were worn by the employees. The hose was put through the bedroom window and then up a ladder into our attic space. The hose itself seemed sub-par - covered in layers of duct tape. I read another review of foam insulation install where the hose broke during insulation, so I was aware that this could be an issue. However, two hoses broke and the generator died during our insulation causing several hours of delay. We weren't kept informed of the status during repairs and had to call the supervisor to drive back to our site for an update. He did not take the initiative to update us properly but at least got the job going again and completed by the end of the day. After the install, they swept up, but the wall under the window was left dirty. No one apologized for the delay during the day and my husband thinks he overheard one of the employees asking for a tip on the way out, which I feel is extremely presumptuous and unprofessional. All in all after 48 hours it seems the insulation is working and the install was done properly which is most important. Our second floor is definitely cooler than before we had insulation in the attic.
