My heel fell off my favorite pair of brown Tory Burch boots so I brought them in to fix the heel. They were very nice and suggested a few other services. I wasamazed when I got the boots back, they looked almost new again! I barely recognized them.  It ran me $75 (much cheaper than a new pair of boots) and they said it would take a week. I asked if there was any chance they could get them to me a few days earlier so I could have them for a trip I was taking, and she said they would try. Sure enough, they were done when I called to check in. Great customer service and great boot repair.

Overall i had a great experience with this place. I was told what exactly was needed to be done to my boots, and how much it was going to cost. The only draw back i would say this place has is parking due to the fact that this place is located in downtown Chicago underneath the "L" tracks on Wells. They open early in the morning at 6:30 am and close usually at 6pm so parking wasn't really a problem getting there either early or late.

I took in two pairs of heels to Beehive on Wednesday. I am typically cautious of Downtown services (ie dry cleaners, nail salons) because they are usually drastically overpriced, compared to my neighborhood services.  However, a girlfiend of mine has just used Beehive to dye her wedding shoes and they are near my office so I thought I would give them a try.

The customer service is first-class.  The woman who took my shoes (the only woman I have seen working there) was especially personable and helpful, introducing herself and explaining the service.  I told her I wouldn't need the shoes for a week.  When I returned the following Thursday, they were ready and looking as good as the day I bought them.  The price- $14 a peice- was about what I would spend on the Northside so I had no complaints.

I will certainly be returning to Beehive when I wear through other pairs of shoes.

These are my favorite flats and I wear them to work and on the weekends.  They are Italian-made.
After only a few wearings, the soles and heels were beginning to wear, and looked all scuffed-up.  I thought that for an expensive pair of shoes, that the soles and heels would have held up better.  The patent leather toe was getting scuffed.
I brought the shoes to Beehive Shoeworks, where I have been bringing my shoes and my purses to be repaired and refurbished for over 7 years.  The shoes now look brand new.  In fact, the soles/heels look better than when I purchased the them.  The owner Marilyn and her staff are very professional.  Those that perform the work are pure craftsmen.  They take their work very seriously and show pride in their work.  I have never been disappointed in the work done.

tried beehive after seeing them in a list of 'the best in chicago'. marilyn was professional, personable, and appreciative of my business, and made me feel like a valued customer on the first visit! i dropped off the shoes & boots, and they were ready when they were supposed to be. i brought in 2 more pair to be stretched, as i was so pleased with the way the first 2 pair fit after they were. beehive will be my new "go to" place for all my shoe, luggage, and leather repair.

Beehive is the premier cobbler in Chicago. Sam, the proprietor, is a delight to work with and very knowledgeable. I send all of my friends to Beehive, and I've mentioned this business on a menswear-oriented internet message board.

I am above and beyond satisfied and I am excited that I can wear these shoes again! Before I give up on any old and worn out shoes I'm bringing them back to be serviced. The staff and service was kind, courteous, and excellent. I don't have to look anywhere else for shoe repair!

I bought a very expensive handbag while on a business trip to Dubai. The brand is not sold in the US but on first use, one of the leather studs that connect the shoulder strap to bag, pulled out. Beehive did a terrific job an you can't even tell where it was repaired.

Once I found Beehive Shoeworks, I stopped going anywhere else for shoe repairs. They've helped me extend the life of all my favorite shoes, boots, and sandals. They cost more than other repair shops but their work is impeccable and the new soles last longer than the originals. My average repair cost is about $35. Beehive fixed the botched repair job on a friends pair of $450 mens boots. The boots have an extended toe with the sole rolling up and over the top of the toe. It took two weeks and cost $75, but Beehive replaced the cut up sole and completely eradicated any evidence of the botched repair. Very impressive.

Excellent. The shoes looked like new after several other shoe repair shops told me that the shoes could not be repaired. The shoes were French Sole ballet slippers, Delman ballet slippers, $300 shoes. Sam did an excellent job. They were brand new shoes! The boots that were $700 boots, he put in a new piece of elastic so that they will not slide down. Like new again.

I went to the shop to see what they could do for my sandals, they said to come back in 10 days. I had come back when they told me to, and I got my sandals back, they looked just like new. I've been with the company for 6 months or so. They are the best shoe repair shop that I have been to in years were very competent and professional. Marilyn the owner is very customer focused.
