Bannon Carpet Co.

We wanted steam cleaning--had a bad experience with shampooing in a former residence--and found that Stanley Steemer had been banned from our condo building (one of their cleaners had an altercation with one of our maintenance people).  Got a referral for Bannon from a carpet installer.  They had a two-week wait when we called for an estimate, but luckily when we called to make the appointment had just had a cancellation and worked us in only two days after we called.  Came when expected, were able to remove most stains, and the stains they couldn't remove were reduced to barely noticeable dark areas that can be confused with shadows. (The previous owner had put down impossibly cheap carpet prior to putting unit on the market and the beige carpet was actually dark grey to almost black in high traffic areas after only a year of use.)
We measured for a quote over the phone, but they measured again when they got here and the finished price was actually $30 less than quoted.  Staff were professional, although we're not positive they actually cleaned in a couple of small areas, such as the walk-in closet where the wear pattern wasn't disturbed.  That's the reason for the Bs in overall and quality--Overall would really be an A-.
They say 90% of their business is word of mouth.  We'd definitely use them again, but hope to have this awful carpet replaced with hardwood before we the carpet cleaned again!

I had FABULOUS service. Jim seemed very trustworthy, did an extremely professional job, confirmed the appt. the day before and showed up on time. He had two helpers that were considerate, repsectful of my household possessions and were careful not to damage anything.
