General Remodeling
DO NOT HIRE!!!! Carlos Pios is an unqualified contractor who should NOT be hired. His team was consistently late, worked MAYBE 4 hours at a time and did sub-par work. To date, after immediately cashing our check, he has not provided a detailed invoice to justify his work. Our last straw with his team is when they cut a main cable (while taking out the room floor) and tried to blame the house circuits. We were left with no electricity to half of our home for 3 days! See images. Due to his teams poor work we refused his offer to fix the electric but we were hopeful we could get other (simple) work completed. To date Carlos has not provided us with a detailed invoice for the work he did complete and has not returned our communications. ***DO NOT HIRE THIS PERSON!!!**

General Remodeling, Basement Remodel + 3 more
A remarkably poor experience. A construction project gone bad on a rental home with an out-of-state owner but a local 'manager' to guide the process. Carlos did not return to complete the extensive punch list, despite promises to do so. Many significant defects in workmanship arose when the property was occupied upon 'completion.' Not only did the new plumbing leak, but an entire concrete shower base had to be demolished and rebuilt due to improper installation (and substantial water damage had to be repaired as a result of the shoddy work). Most troubling was the condition of the 'new' electrical wiring his subcontractor (?) did -- connections that resulted in a 220v light circuit and other very hazardous conditions. No attention to detail and completely unskilled labor.
