Babys Away

I'm not sure this company is still in business.  I had excellent service the first time I used them.  I wanted to use them again, but phone calls and emails to both the local franchisee and the corporate office have gone unanswered.  I'm taking my business elsewhere.

They were awesome because in both cases we were going on vacation and we were staying in house and the house did not have a crib, or a baby swing so I could have it all delivered to the house and when I got there with the kid we had a crib, sheets and all that. It is not just having the crib alone to put the kid in but they make the bed, the do the whole thing and you don't have to carry all that stuff with you. I would rent the stroller and everything and when I got to the house it was all there. If you stay in a hotel they would provide the crib and all that but if you are staying at a house this service was terrific. Another thing that is truly nice about it is that it is a franchise where they lend the brand. But I believe that the company was started by a mum and almost all of the people who own the franchise are mothers and this is their business. What a great business for a mum and all that she has to do is buy the equipment, bring it, and set it up. I felt that the prices were reasonable too. Not having to deal with carrying all that stuff is great and they had pretty much everything you would want. If you have a 5 moth old or something you would to make sure that if he is a swing baby that there is a swing to keep that kid happy. It was totally worth it. In each situation that we were visiting either a friend or a family member there were people living there so I could arrange for it all to be delivered before I arrived. But if you a renting a house for vacation you could have them come out around the time you arrive. Everything was clean and above reproach. I would recommend them to others. It is wonderful service.

They were unbelievably accommodating. I kept changing the order and they were completely accommodating and professional. They even have toys to rent and when I asked that that be added to my order, Lisa, the Chicago rep, asked me the age of the babies. I got a huge bucket of toys which were custom chosen for their ages. My nieces, who are a little germaphobic, loved everything I got, especially the Graco stroller, which they wished they had at home. All of the things were very clean and name brand. Lisa arrived exactly when she said and assembled the crib quickly and efficiently. I was so pleased and my nieces were ecstatic. It kept them from having to bring all sorts of things from New York and made their trip much easier. And I did not have to worry about borrowing things from a number of friends and then figuring out how to get it to and from their houses. It was a one-stop shop! I can't say enough about how helpful it was to have found this service.
