The service was superb! They are very professional and I highly recommend them! They even delivered the painting to my house after they replaced the glass at no charge! They are the only place I will go to from now on for framing!

I dropped off the pieces to be checked to get an idea as to how much it would cost to frame them. I also wanted to weight my options as to how i could frame these pieces. I wanted to know what frames would go correct with the color scheme along with what matting a glass options i had. I was helped out by Agripino Betancourt who did a superb job with the framing work. My pieces came out perfect and the price was very favorable. The service was outstanding. I would highly recommend this place for custom framing.

Courteous treatment, seemed to know about preservation/conservation. I had checked Angie's List before I went, and I knew that they were expensive. Although they did a great job, I would think twice about using them again--carefully weighing a long trip to a framer I'd used before but who moved out of the city against the cost. Or, if I were framing a "fun" piece (not of great artistic or sentimental value), I'd definitely shop around.

It was very easy to go in and get oil painting framed. I had confidence that they would do a good job, and it was ready one week later and looks fabulous. Only issue was the price!

While living in Tokyo last year, I bought Japanese prints that became very meaningful to me and my experience living there. After moving back, I spent a lot of time researching and visiting different frame shops in Chicago because I wanted quality framing that would showcase the prints and also last a lifetime. I have very high standards and particular tastes and Artists' Frame Service actually exceeded my expectations. Joshua helped me both times, and I found him to be very knowledgeable and reflective about his work. He handled my prints with the utmost integrity, and his framing and matting suggestions were inline with the traditional methods for Asian printing (this care and knowledge was lacking at other stores). The price was higher than I expected, but in the end I feel it was well worth it. The final product of my pictures does not even compare to the recommendations that other frame shops had given me. I am EXTREMELY pleased with my pictures.

They were very professional and very helpful in terms of picking out the right framing to make the pictures look great. The employees are actually artists so they are very good about bringing out the good parts of the photo. They were very expensive though. I would use them again.

I absolutely love the Artists' Frame Service, and will never take art work elsewhere to be framed. This was my second time using them to frame artwork. I have had numerous problems with the Great Frame Up, e.g. calling me to tell me work was completed when it wasn't, trying to give me damaged work, overcharging me, not returning phone calls, etc. So when I first went to Artists', I was pleasantly surprised to learn they promise to have your work framed within one week. The person I worked with to chose the frame was professional and very nice. She didn't make me feel like I was taking up her time, like the people at the Great Frame Up. I happen to be somewhat indecisive when choosing framing materials, but the person who helped me was patient and encouraged me to take my time. Going back for a second time, I worked with a different person, but had just as pleasant an experience. The artwork looks great!

This job took a week and I am very happy with the results. I have used this shop in the past and continue to do so because he has an excellent eye for picking just the right frame and making the picture look beautiful.

They are somewhat high end. They provide an excellent selection and they do an excellent job of counseling for framing of different pieces. Again somewhat high end. Your going to pay a little bit more, but generally speaking, you get what you pay for.

A MOVING COMPANY SERIOUSLY DAMAGED MY 2 LARGE, VINTAGE TRAVEL POSTERS. THE AFS STAFF ASSISTED ME WITH PROFESSIONAL RESTORATION AND REFRAMING. IT TOOK A LONG TIME TO ACCOMPLISH BECAUSE I WAITED TO SEE IF I WOULD RECOVER SOME MONEY FROM THE ACCIDENT BEFORE ORDERING FULL RESTORATION & REFRAMING. AFS WAS VERY PATIENT WITH THIS PROCESS.

They did a great looking job. I love my pictures. However, their customer service could step up a notch, and it would be flawless. They don't call to let you know when your pictures are ready, which I think would create a better overall experience. Also, when I went to pick up my picture frames, I didn't notice that one was missing. So, I had to go back and get it.

Artists' Frame Service framed two botanical prints perfectly. The quality of the work was excellent. In terms of the framing process and selecting the most appropriate type of framing, Artists' Frame Service offered a subjective, artistic opinion. Although I found the service to be quite arrogant and the prices to be extremely expensive for such a large volume company, I am happy with the quality of the work and the experience as a whole. I will return for more projects and recommend them for any framing needs.

THESE PHOTOGRAPHS WERE BEING FRAMED FOR A GALLERY SHOW AND ARTISTS' FRAME SERVICE DID AN EXCELLENT JOB AT USING BORDERS, TRIMS, & FRAMES THAT WOULD COMMUNICATE THE OVERALL FEELING OF THE PHOTOGRAPHS--BRINGING OUT COLORS & SHAPES IN AN ARTISTIC WAY.

THE PICTURE LOOKS GREAT, BUT I FEEL LIKE I PAID TOO MUCH. THE PERSON WHO HELPED ME WAS PROFESSIONAL BUT FOR THE PRICE COULD HAVE GIVEN STRONGER INPUT. IF I AM PAYING $100 FOR A SMALL FRAME, I WANT TO HAVE THE BEST PERSON CONSULT ME ON COLORS OF MATTING & SIZES OF FRAMES. OVERALL, THE SELECTION WAS GOOD, PARKING WAS EASY, & THE STORE WAS ORGANIZED.

EXCELLENT CONSULTATION, VERY EASY TO WORK WITH, AND DIDN'T SHAMELESSLY FOIST THE MORE EXPENSIVE OPTIONS ON US. WE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH THE FINAL PRODUCT.

ALTHOUGH THE SERVICE IS VERY EXPENSIVE, IT IS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND WORTH THE MONEY IF YOU WANT PROFESSIONAL, HIGH QUALITY FRAMING. THE FRAMING REPRESENTATIVES ARE VERY TALENTED AND ALL WORK WAS READY WHEN PROMISED.
