When I called the company, I received a timely response. I asked the technician over the phone the price of the visit. He told me $35, which appeared to be extremely low given that it was an after hours call. When he arrived, which he did in a timely manner, he told me that the price was $35 for the visit and $225 for, apparently, the after hours timing. He insisted on a cash payment and told me that he would follow me to an ATM after he did the work to get his payment. When he completed his work, by drilling out the lock, he provided me with a receipt that bore neither the name nor address of the company he worked for. I paid the $260 in cash. But I have the following problems with the way I was treated: 1. The actual price of the service was not given to me when I asked for it. 2. The insistence on the cash payment seemed like a tactic to ensure that I would not get a credit card company involved if I perceived a problem. 3. The cash payment was not stipulated in advance. It is customary, in my opinion, that reputable companies dealing with consumers take some sort of credit card payment. 4. I did not price other locksmith services but $260 appears to be high. 5. The nature of the receipt is troubling. It's lack of an address or telephone number suggests that the company does not wish any follow-up contact. Needless to say, I do not intend to deal with this company again.

He was excellent in every way and did great work.
