A.R. Construction

I am surprised to see this company listed on Angieslist.  I have been trying to find this company for the last 13 years.  We hired A. R. Construction to renovate our home.  He told us that he would personally work on the project.  He  was missing in action for most of the construction time and did not manage his staff.   Our new windows have many air gaps which means they did not measure the opening correctly.  The framing of our home was done so badly that the door jambs do not lie flat against the wall.  I had to stuff chalk and re surround the windows with trim to keep the cold air out.  Most of the framing on the windows are off.  The framing, new walls and painting was a disaster.  They left paint on our new floors. We had to hire another company to come in and repaint the walls because they sprayed paint the walls which left a very thin layer of paint on the walls.   Art disappeared after we paid him and I had to hire another company to fix the shoddy work.   He was responsible for the electrician and the electrician did not tag the breakers.  We were told they would return to fix the problems.  They came a couple of times and then disappeared.  I wasted my money on this company.
