On this visit, I brought my iPad. I had been unable to send emails and couldn't get the settings right. this was another problem solved. My 'complex' - problems - to me - were all solved in less than an hour! I was extremely pleased and will make that 'home base' for all my apple products!

Apple is great. Their products are superior to every thing else. Their service is great. If you call, they pick right up. They know what they are doing. If you have a problem they work on it right there. You can also make an appointment to have them look at the computer. The price is a little high, but it is worth it.

They usually do pretty good work and do stick by their price quotes, which I like a lot. They are just a little expensive when it comes to some work they do. They are convenient and they only work on Apples which I like.

FRUSTRATING, MADDENING EXPERIENCE. GENIUS BAR TECH WAS CURT, HURRIED (THE STORE WAS BUSY) AND INDIFFERENT WHEN HE DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM AS A FRIED HARD DRIVE. HE QUICKLY MOVED ON TO ANOTHER CUSTOMER. I HAD TO ASK HIM TO COME BACK OVER FOR A FULLER EXPLANATION AND PRESS HIM ON REPAIR ALTERNATIVES. HIS SUGGESTION: GO DOWNSTAIRS AND DROP ANOTHER $300 ON A NEW IPOD. WHY BUY A NEW WHEN THIS ONE WAS DEFECTIVE? FINALLY FOUND A MANAGER, AND HE COULDN'T ANSWER THAT QUESTION, EITHER. ONLY INTERESTED IN SELLING NEW PRODUCTS, CUSTOMER SERVICE TOTALLY LACKING. (TRIED TECH SUPPORT ON THE PHONE, AND IT WAS WORSE: SHOCKINGLY RUDE AND UNHELPFUL.) I'VE OWNED APPLE COMPUTERS SINCE 1983, AND I LOVE MY IPOD, BUT AFTER THIS EXPERIENCE I'M BUYING A DELL NEXT TIME.
