AMERICAN MATTRESS

We had a pleasant experience from the get-go.  I had been to a competitor's showroom and frankly felt as if I knew more about mattresses than the salesperson did, and I had only done a few minutes of research on-line ahead of time.  At American Mattress, the salesperson was both friendly and knowledgeable without being pushy.  He asked a few questions, helped us to hone down our choices, answered all of our questions throughly and honestly, and left us alone when appropriate to test out the mattresses and talk things over.   We never felt rushed or pushed.  We discussed pricing honestly (we checked on-line afterward and feel that we paid a fair price) and never felt like we were being "sold."  We purchased a set that day (Saturday) and it was delivered Monday.  The delivery folks arrived on time (as a matter of fact, a little early!) and were quick and professional while removing the old set and setting up the new one.  One thing I like is that the company "recycles" mattresses rather than throwing them in a landfill.  (I believe the mattresses are sanitized and resold at discount places.)  Best of all, the mattress is the most comfortable one I've ever slept on.  Although we bought one of the more expensive sets on the floor, it was well worth it.

They were friendly, informative, and efficient. The drivers/delivery men worked their tushes off. They should receive a POH.

Sales person was not pushy at all.
