Fair prices and accurate work, would hire again in a heartbeat

They replaced a couple locks and made it so my renter could use one key for each lock. Everything about the service was prompt - including their response time, and completing the job. The cost was more than a hundred dollars less than the next closest estimate. No brainer to hire this company.

Bill at Amazing Lock was recommended by our building engineer. He has been the go-to locksmith for our condo building for a number of years. He arrived 20 minutes after I called and was really quick. I heartily recommend him!!!

The guy that answered the phone was unbelievably rude. He kept telling me to call back Monday at 9am on a Saturday morning. He was the rudest representative I can ever recall speaking to from the get go. He told me to F-off and hung up in my face.

Never showed for appointment.

The service was less than stellar. When I called during the day, one person said they could not help me. After going over my issue again he said, they did have some who could assist and the repair would cost around $50. I was told someone would come by my place at 6:00 p.m. Around 5:30 p.m. someone called 5x and I had missed the call. I called the number back at 5:34 p.m. Again I went round and round about the work that needed to be done. The gentleman said someone would be by to look at the work. At 5:42 p.m. I received a call from a technician saying he would be around at 7:00 p.m. now. The technician showed up and was able to open the gate. According to the technician the latch would still catch after so many turns of the knob. He was having a hard time figuring out the lock we had. He had to call a co-worker numerous times for assistance. After sitting outside for an hour with the technician I went inside. The technician then called after 1/2 hour for me to come outside. When I went outside the whole handle had been removed from the gate. I was told I could leave the gate w/o a lock or put in a new lock. I was in shock after seeing the handle on the ground all busted up. It looks like the technician had a hard time removing the handle and it was no longer functioning in this state. I wish he would have told me he was going to completely remove the handle as it was some what working before he removed it. I could have had someone else come out to look at the lock since it was an industrial lock. I couldn't leave the front gate w/o a lock since the city was desolate and there have been a number of robberies and murders in our area. I asked for a new lock to be added. After 2 hrs. the work was completed and I was told by the technician his boss said to charge me $240 for the job, but he was going to be generous and only charge me $195. I was getting a great deal according to the technician. He wrote up the invoice and charged me $75 per hour for service. When I originally called this company I was told $50 and hour for service. I don't know how you tell a customer you are going to charge them $50 an hour over the phone and then once the service is performed you up it an extra $25 per hour. If I had know my service amount was going to increase by $25 per hour I would have asked the technician to leave. I had a number of other companies give me better rates! So this company not only lied about their services fee, they broke my door handle, and in the end I had to get a new one because they completely REMOVED and broke the original lock! If you use this company make sure you discuss all options and fees before they do ANY work!!

An hour and a half after I called Amazing Lock, my problem was fixed. They even offered -- which I accepted -- to just repair the old lock rather than charge me the cost of a new one.

Called mid afternoon on Monday and Amazing was on site 9am the next day.

Nick tackled the job quickly and efficiently. All issues resolved and lock is in perfect working order.

I tried to have my key duplicated by at least 8 other companies. Today, I found "Amazing Lock Service" on Angie's List, called them, and spoke with Gerald to explain the problem I was having getting a duplicate key made.  This key unlike the others did not have a company name or logo etc.   The lock I own  is a very secure and expensive one and I did not want to change it.  Gerald asked me email  h picture to him and he would let me know if he could do anything.  After researching he told me to come in because he thinks he has.  He absolutely got it right on the first try!!  I will always go Amazing Lock FIRST for all my needs.  I could have saved so much time and effort!  They were also very friendly and professional! Love this place!

I locked myself and my two dogs out this mourning. I hadn't donie this in 12 years and have since added a lock but had neglected to give this to my neighbors,who have a set for just such an emergency. Thank God I had my cell. I called Amazing lock Service and told them my problem. The service man was there in about 40 minutes. Couldn't be nicer,and fixed my lock,which had been installed incorrectly. Now I have a properly installed lock and three keys for it. I plan to call them again to put in universal locks for my common areas so my tenants don't have to drag around the key ring they currently do.

Execellent customer service on the phoe. Jake came in in 30min, he was very polite and cordial, and opened the locked door in

10 seconds. Flawless expeience. I highly recommend them.
