My neighbor across the hall has the exact same air conditioning unit, and the company never charged her to go up on the roof (and they charged with me $125 to do so). They also only charged her $3,300 for the whole service and I was charged $3,600. I tried to ask why I was charged more and I got the run-around. I was given many excuses that never made any sense to me. I finally received a refund of $125.00 on 10-23-2010, but not the extra $300.00.

"The member incurred an additional charge over her neighbor's because she has a motor replaced in an failed attempt to save her condensing A.C. unit of approx $350.00 one she was totally informed of the risk and the cost. Prior to replacing the unit. She was informed of all costs and that any part especially electric motors once installed are non refundable. Special ordered parts, service, labor - all included in the $350.00. We regret it failed, yet she cannot change the decision she made and accepted - openly - knowing the facts at the time her unit was installed. Her A.C. new system was $3,300 as so the neighbors plus - the motor and service change from the attempt she elected to have performed we have refunded the service charge. We also unstopped a condo building drain at no cost to her 4@$90 per hour $360 - free - her drain to her unit was clear yet the drain for the building was plugged. We spent 4 hours rodding the drain this was not part of our service it was to have a satisfied customer. Robert Mason, assistant manager of service tech"

We woke up with no heat, called and they came out very fast. We were told it would be $75 for the service call. After 20 minutes of tinkering, changing some wires. They said we needed a new system, motor, blower, wiring, etc. They said they were able to make it work for now. We were then presented with a bill for $300.00 20 minutes after they left the heater stopped working. We called them back and they said for another $700.00 they would change the motor. In the meantime, another heating company called and asked if checked our flue to see if it was blocked. We opened up the flue and sure enough it was blocked. We emptied it and the heating system worked fine. We called Advanced back and asked for our $300.00 back since they didn't fix anything at all. We wanted to know why they never even asked about the flue and they response was "it seemed to easy a answer". We let them keep $75 for the service call but told them we would never recommend them. They are dishonest!

Very professional job in every way. Randy responded to phone calls immediately and was prompt in coming to look over our condo. Angel, the installer, was also prompt, courteous, and hard-working. There was difficulty with one of the other condo owners in the building, but Randy and Angel found a solution that met everyone's satisfaction. Angel made sure that everything was cleaned up before he left once the job was completed. The only thing we had to do was put stuff away that had been in our storage unit which is where the air handler was placed. We are very happy with the results and cannot say enough positive things about the entire experience and Randy and Angel.

THIS PROVED TO BE A DIFFICULT TASK TO FIND A WATER HEATER THAT FIT AND WAS ENOUGH CAPACITY BASED ON THE LIMITED SIZE FOR IT IN MY UNIT. I WORKED WITH THEIR REPRESENTATIVE FOR WEEKS WHILE HE SEARCHED AND SEARCHED AND CAME OUT TWICE TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO MAKE IT WORK. HE DIDN'T GIVE UP AND ENSURED ME WE'D FIND A SOLUTION. THE MEN HE SENT OUT TO DO THE WORK WERE PROFESSIONAL AND DID A GREAT JOB- EVEN CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES. THE JOB PROVED TO BE EVEN MORE DIFFICULT THAN THEY ALL ORIGINALLY THOUGHT, BUT NONETHELESS, THEY STUCK BY THEIR QUOTE.
