Access Maids House Cleaning Services Chicago

This is a dishonest and subpar cleaning service. I have used cleaning service for several years and have sent many emails regarding inadequate cleaning and instructions that were not followed. More concerning issues were; hair found in the refrigerator from the maids, dirty rags left, grossly uncleaned areas and misplaced items. The most recent completely unacceptable issue was severe damage to my white carpeting. The maid service is asked to shampoo two bedrooms containing white carpet and left huge stains in one room Monday, January 15, 2018. This was reported to the manager immediately and he stated the maids would come back to clean the carpet. Two maids came to the appointment Jan 16th, late, one of them went straight to my guest bathroom without asking me, they only spoken Polish took photographs, and did not bring any cleaning equipment. They only told me to call the manager after they left. When I called the manager I had to leave a voicemail, however he did call back. He stated he was taking no responsibility for the stains on the carpet and that his maids were not responsible for making the stains either. Although he offered to have the maids come back and try to clean the area, he again claimed no liability for the damage to the carpet. This is completely on acceptable and for this reason I have fired this cleaning service and do not want them anywhere near my home or my items. I caution anybody who uses the service.

I am appalled by how this went. I hired them to do the cleaning just prior to my move-in while I was at work. I came home to a filthy home. I cannot figure out what they did besides clean the one bathtub and lightly wipe up the counters in kitchen and bathroom. They washed the floors and left a film. Nothing else was done, yet I was charged for 2:45 hours for two cleaners, so a total of 5:30 hours worth of work at the extra expensive "deep clean" rate. Again it was an empty 920 square foot one and a half bath condo. My contact with the owner was the worst experience I'd ever had. He insisted the only recourse I had was for his employees to come back the next day, despite the fact I had to clean it all myself that night because I was supposed to move in already. He refused to adjust the bill despite me sending him approximately 20 photos of the state of my home. His employees were most certainly not welcome back in my home and it was impossible as I was moving and had paid for a move-in cleaning. He kept telling me he wouldn't give me free service, which was not what I was asking for despite me saying I just wanted to pay a fair rate for what actually got cleaned. I was left with filthy cabinets that hadn't been touched, a microwave with food and even a hair in it, and dirty appliances. It was not a deep cleaning, or even a regular cleaning. I cannot recommend this service. It was despicable the service provided and the customer service was worse--inflexible and unethical in my opinion to charge for work not done.

Long-time client. The service is more hit than miss but it is obvious when a new crew cleans my place. The final straw was my latest cleaning, when they scratched my stainless steel microwave. I called and reported it and I was told a supervisor would come out. Instead, the whole cleaning crew came out. They stared at the microwave for about 10 minutes, speaking what I assume is Polish the whole time. They took a couple of pictures and said the owner would call me back. No call ever came and I just got an email saying they concluded their investigation and found that the microwave was scratched before they arrived. I am now a FORMER client.

We have been using Access Maids for about two and a half years. The best part was that you could schedule all of the service online, which was helpful because I'm not typically able to call during the day to make appointments. They always showed up and showed up on time or early. The service was hit or miss -- sometimes it was spectacular and sometimes is was just so-so. 
We moved into a new, bigger home in March and the service since then has been awful. We pay for two hours of service ($22 an hour per cleaner, two cleaners). We also have a new home security system. After three mediocre appointments in the new house, I checked the time that they were arriving and leaving on the security system. They were only staying about 70 minutes of the 120 we were paying for. I probably would have been annoyed but okay with this if the cleaning was awesome. However, the floors in basement weren't cleaned, the trash wasn't taken out, etc. Not okay - we have since switched companies and they are professional and provide better service.

Terrible. Would not use again under any circumstances. Where should I start: First of all, there were 2 young women who cleaned my home and it was a complete joke. They arrived 30 minutes late and left 15 minutes early yet I was charged for the entire duration of the scheduled cleaning. When I called the office to complain the owner, Sergei, insisted that the girls were there for the entire duration. He said he had records from the car's GPS system that indicated when the girls arrived and departed that proved they were there the entire duration. Now that was the biggest loud of c*** I've heard in a very long time! Furthermore, the cleaning service itself was very poor. They simply surface cleaned the house with zero attention to detail. The girls did not appear to be professional cleaners. For example, ceiling fans not touched, visible dust left on furniture and blinds, and floor was "glossed over" with a wet mop. Using the service of Access Maids was literally a waste of money. It was literally like taking a match to $125. After several phone conversations with the owner and manager he agreed to take $20 off of my bill and have a supervisor come back to clean for 1 hour. Even she did a poor job! I will never use this service again and will not recommend to anyone.
