I?m 23 years old I paid to get my studio apartment fixed. He tried to take advantage of me and stop showing up for the job. His workers were making in fun of me when my father left. I gave him a $800 deposit he took the money and told me his price was his price which was no problem. He kept insulting me asking me how am I going to pay for all the money when I had the money. I was just not going to let him just rob me because he thinks I don?t know no better I even Zelled him he got a total of $1000. Didn?t do anything but prime the walls and mud the spots with dents in them. His workers also created a safety hazard with the outlets in the kitchen. He wanted me to pay full price without him showing or doing any work. He also was supposed to come Monday-Friday and he took advantage of some free money. Jack was confident that he could get our job done within our budget. He sent respectful, highly skilled workers to perform the work--people I felt comfortable with. He stuck to timeline and didn't up-charge when small things got added. We did do lots of "extras" after moving in--things we did not know we wanted until we were in the building, living there, but he was patient with this, and any additional charges for work beyond the contract, were reasonable.
