Had it planned for a few days now for this company to come out and move water spigot over 3 ft. Simple job!!Was supposed to be done at 1pm. Nobody showed so I contacted plumber at 2pm and she stated that she was still at last job and stated that she would be by at 3 or 3:30!! Of course a no show with no phone call from her whatsoever. I would never recommend this company even if they were last plumbers on earth! Very poor communication and customer service skills! I would also question their plumbing skills! Highly not recommended!!

I originally contacted this company since they originally were listed as a plumbing company in Brookfield, IL on August 19th 2013 at approx 10:47am. The owner, Tess Blanco, called back and stated her plumbers would be out at 12pm and offered a reasonable repair fee. She called back shortly and said her guys were out on other calls and offered to discount the service for any inconvenience and the plumbers would be out at 4pm instead. The 2 plumbers arrived in a black pick up truck (not a business vehicle). They were late but very polite and friendly. They talked me through every step of the way. The problem occurred when the sawed out my old pipe and cut my cable/internet service lines. Tess the owner stated she would reimburse me for the AT&T repair. I was stuck without cable/internet til Wednesday 21 August 2013. Tess said this had happened before on a job and she would personally take care of the bill. She would not allow me to take the $99 AT&T service call off of the price of the bill. After the AT&T repair man came on the 21st of August, I immediately contacted Tess at her business line and left a message. I also emailed their company email address with a copy of the invoice for the charges from AT&T. I then called the following day, 22 August 2013 on the owner's cell phone at 11:0am and she answered and said to give her 1 to 2 business days to get the check out to me. Thinking that the business was in Brookfield, IL (where I reside) I waited til 29th of August to contact her again since the check did not arrive in the mail. The business line 708-290-0079 was not in service. I left her a message on her personal phone. Since Tess would not answer from my phone number on caller id, I used my neighbor's land line to call her and she answered. She told me she would come over on 30 August 2013 at 10am with the money personally. I had my friend sit at home and wait for her since I had to work. She text messaged me from her cell phone at 10am saying she would be late. I asked for a better estimated time of arrival and she said noon. I had my neighbor check the mailbox at 1:30pm and the mailbox was empty. I informed the owner, Tess, I was not going to play games and felt like I was getting the run around on the money she owed me for the AT&T bill for the damage. I could not find any information online for a business license in Illinois for A Plumber Now. I checked the back of my personal check that was cashed by the business and it was cashed at a local currency exchange. Shouldn't a licensed business have a business banking account? I had to resort to going to the Brookfield Police Department to document the numerous phone calls and attempts to contact the owner incase I decided to do a civil lawsuit. The officer at the p.d. was nice enough to make a phone call to the owner, Tess, who relayed that they were busy but they would bring out the money to me this evening. After the visit at the police department, Tess text me and said she would be over with the money. She stated how she isn't liable and doesn't have to pay me for the damages to the cable/internet line. Tess informed me she felt I was threatening her. Tess stated in her text messages that there is no way the plumbers would not be able to perform the work without cutting the line? How would she know if she wasn't here to observe the damage or the area of the plumbing problem. I took pictures of the damage where they cut by the pipes of the cut wires. Eventually, 2 men showed up at my house at 10:35pm at night with $100 in cash for the AT&T bill. After over a week of phone calls, emails, and staying on top of the owner, I was able to get reimbursed.
Question is do they have insurance or a business license? I guess I learned my lesson over the last week.
