It was so quick I spaced the gentleman's name, but he gave me a potential solution to the issue over the phone, without even insinuating that a service call or fee would be required.
It's the little things that count. We will certainly be calling A Appliance Source for any future appliance repair needs.

I was recommended A Appliance Source from another appliance company I found on Angies List. I called them and left a message and was immediately called back. A few days later two gentleman came out to access the problem. They said that It looks like we eeded a new part, which they had with them. It was a fairly expensive part (can't remember what it was called) and that they are certain if we replace it, the problem will be fixed. I decided to move forward. They quickly replaced the part and my dryer is working great. My biggest concern was if it was worth replacing this expensive part on a dryer that is 10 years old vs buying a new one. He opened up my dryer, and spent a few minutes just diagnosing it and reassured me everything looks and sounded good. I felt very comfortable working with them and highly recommend them.

I called to ask for an estimate on one oven and schedule an appointment for another. Was told that it would be around $69 to come out and diagnose the problem, then parts and repair time. I thought that was fair, but they could not come out for a week and they could not guarantee a time until the day of the appointment. I am a landlord and a mother and cannot wait until the day of the appointment to determine if it will fit into our or our tenants' schedules. In order to guarantee a time I would have to wait over a week and a half for an appointment. They did give me a number of someone who could come sooner, but they did not get good reviews. I was able to call another company on Friday, they are coming on Monday, and gave me a two hour window. That is more like it.
Response from A Appliance Source Inc

"As we value the experience of our consumers, I must emphasize this review is based on a phone call and not direct experience with the quality of the service provided; as we did provide any service. To clarify, a service call is 65$ , parts and labor additional. When it comes to scheduling, we route geographically and each job varies as far as length for repair. Once the appointment is scheduled, the technician calls the morning of with an accurate 2 hour time frame. We do try to accommodate morning or afternoon requests, however promising a scheduled time is not feasible due to the job variations and geographical locations. We do offer a guaranteed first stop of the day, however, these do go quickly. We strive to provide the highest and most honest quality of service and promising an exact time in this field is simply not attainable. There are many factors taken in when scheduling an appointment. We do apologize for not being able to get you in for an appointment right away; if an existing appointment is rescheduled openings sooner do arise. Thank you for your feedback. Maria H. (Office Manager)"

My microwave seemed to be working perfectly except that there was no heat. I called A Appliance Source and spoke to Maria. She was so friendly and asked me specific questions about my microwave and the problem I was having to try and determine if it was worth my while to get it fixed. She put me on hold for a quick minute and consulted with one of their repair techs. Long story short: the tech thought the problem was the magnetron tube had gone bad and the cost of repair would be not much less than buying a new microwave. This is the conclusion I had come to after doing some internet research, but I really appreciated him confirming it for me. What a nice experience this phone call was. I will definitely call this company for any appliance repair I need in the future.

It was the first day of real snow so everyone's morning was slower than usual but the repairman did call me and gave me a 2 hour window and he did arrive during that time.  Everything went well.  Repairman was great.  I think his name was Paul.

The man who came to fix the machine arrived 5 minutes before his time window which was wonderful. He was in and out in about 10 minutes. I haven't had any more trouble with the machine.
NOW my washing machine needs some help so I called A Service Source right away to see if they could service my brand of washer/dryer. The woman I spoke to on the phone was super helpful and told me that although they can service my brand, they had another contact they trusted who could get parts that were still under warrantee. I think I am most impressed by this because it takes the best professionals to refer out when they have a contact they believe can help someone out better than they can.
I will not hesitate to call this company any time I have any appliance issues. They're the best.

Joe gave me a call at 8am to say he would be at my place between 1-3pm. He arrived around 2pm, and immediately found that the reason the dishwasher wasn't working was because the control panel was broken. He replaced it and was done with the whole visit in less than 20 minutes. He showed me that I was missing some screws in the door of the dishwasher, which he did not have replacements for. I felt like the price of $220 was steep, but that included $65 for the service call, $115 for the new control panel, and $40 for labor.
Joe was very courteous and professional. I was pleased with the smooth process of making the appointment and the follow-through!

We called A Appliance Source after another company failed to have the proper part for our broken refrigerator. I spoke to Paul, who said he could be out early the very next day. He asked for various information to understand what the issue was, and gave me a price estimate over the phone. He was able to come by earlier than planned, and gave me a call before to make sure I was home. He was very helpful in explaining other common issues with our refrigerator model, and explained what had happened with the broken part. We ended up owing less than his price estimate; paid $150, estimate was $165. He was in and out within 30 minutes. Great experience.

This rating is just based on a phone call, but it was a very helpful phone call - I asked them about an issue I was having with my washer (dark brown stains appearing on my laundry). He told me to try a special cleaning solution first, and then if I was still having problems, he could say that it was very probably a broken bearing, and that the cost of a repair was not worth it: i.e. more than buying a new washer. Note that nowhere in this conversation did he try to get me to do anything that would involve spending money on his company. Essentially it was free professional advice.

Initially I called to describe a problem (dark brown grease spots appearing on my laundry -- knew it was coming from the washer, a Frigidaire GLGT1142CS0, and was told the probable diagnosis was a transmission replacement. (Additional research confirmed this.) I was advised that the job was not simple and that many homeowners would choose to replace the washer. After looking into my (limited, due to space constraints) options for replacement, I decided to look more seriously at repairing the machine. Over the phone (on a Saturday), I spoke with a knowledgeable guy who asked a couple of questions to make sure of the diagnosis, and was then given an estimate of $550-600 (parts were close to $300, and the work would take 2 guys about 2 hours). He said he could order the parts Monday morning and schedule the work for Friday. I received a call on Thursday to confirm for Friday. I asked for 9:30 am or later, and was told I would be "second stop" of the day. On the day of the scheduled work, I received a call around 7:45 or 8 am confirming arrival between 9:30 and 11:30. The two repairmen showed up promptly at 9:30 and left by 11:45. They were courteous and competent (had clearly done this exact job many times before), cleaned up after themselves and were considerate of our home. The washer has been repaired and is operating "good as new."
