Ken Ziolo runs this family business that his father ran before him (his brother Ron Ziolo, listed here as contact person, is deceased).
Ken is hands-on in the garage together with 3 other excellent guys. He has worked on both our cars and those of other family members for more than a dozen years. The work is always done right.  If there is something I imagine the car needs, Ken will tell me if it's un-necessary. He is a detective who anticipates real trouble.  Our cars are maintained properly here, and so they rarely need to be "fixed". If I buy a new car I can't wait until the warranty is up so I can get it out of of the dealers double-dealing hands and get it to a guy I can trust, and that is Ken. Ken is personable and straightforward. He tells you what's wrong and what's right with your car.
With all my experience dealing with him, I have learned I can depend on him, because our cars run right and trouble free.

I think they're very good so I like them. They always handle my service calls promptly and they're pretty available. I've never had any issues or complaints about any servicing I've had done. I've just always found them to be reliable and just nice guys. They'll do things like fill up my windshield wiper fluid, and, specifically speaking in auto repair, when I've needed things like tires or batteries they're very accommodating about getting that. They answer all my questions and if they feel there's something that needs fixing, they fix it. They're very professional, kind of like the Car Top guys on the radio because they're two brothers.

Overall I am very comfortable bringing my car problems to this place.

I spent $360 the last time I used them. My interaction with them was great, the whole thing was great. They did the work in a timely manner and the price was good. They are fabulous and they have been in the business forever. I really liked the way they treated us. I decided to use them because they had good reviews on the list and I that they have been in business since 1955, and they are close to my home. They came across as a very honest company and they were not trying to expand the price and they were quick.

They called to give me an estimate within 2 hours of dropping the car off (I dropped it off around 10am) and they had it ready for me by 3:30pm. Honest guys- they seem to understand that repeat business is better than high-priced one-time business.

They are honest, wonderful people who do very good work at an excellent, excellent price. It is less than half of what you pay elsewhere. They are very prompt, get things done quickly. They are so polite and nice. I have a ten year old car and with their help it is running perfectly, it is almost running better than it ever did. Their price was so reasonable for this latest work and they were able to get it done right before Thanksgiving for me. I took it somewhere else first and they told me I needed $3000 of work done. These guys are really honest, it's a great value and I would recommend them to anybody.

They are really good at communicating. I trust them.

Everything went well. Dropped the car off when they opened, received quote at lunch time, and car was ready by end of day.

They always recommend OEM parts but they were willing to install an after-market automatic window motor that I purchased on line which ended up saving me a couple of hundred dollars vs. the OEM part. I've used it for 2 years with no issues.

Okay. Very professional mechanics. Be sure to get a quote and agree to each repair you want done, always a good idea. Quick service, very accommodating, very knowledgeable, explain things so you understand the repairs.

I like that they are very professional. They are also very honest. I have been using their services for around twenty years. I trust them and the work they do. They are easy to work with and they listen to what you are saying.

I have been using them ever since I moved to this area about a year and half ago. They are far more knowledgeable than local Ford dealers. I find them reasonable in their prices. They are very punctual and customer oriented. I will continue to use their services and recommend them.

My 1998 Honda Odyssey was beginning to run badly as it surpassed 100,000 miles and the work performed by a Honda dealer in Chicago, from whom I had bought it new, was not improving it much and they wanted a lot of money to replace bearings and to do various other questionable jobs two years ago. At the suggestion of my step-son, I took it to A and A and, without these un-needed expenses, they put the car into excellent condition. They have maintained it for more than 2 years now and it runs better than it has in years as I have put 25,000 more miles on it. They have leveled with me always. Even when a young mechanic slipped up on a detail they took care of the problem immediately and apologetically at no further expense. The business has been run by brothers Ron and Ken Ziolo for very many years and they depend on loyal customers so they are sure to be thorough and straightforward. My newer car had been serviced by another auto shop. They too suggest dubious repair. Now it goes to A and A.

I had this car checked for my daughter to drive to college on the West coast. They did the work that I needed and they told me that there wasn't any major work that was needed. They said my daughter will get there fine and that the car was in good condition. I was very happy.

I was pleased with the service, Ron and Ken are very friendly and helpful in a "Tom and Ray from Car Talk" kind of way. For both repairs, I was able to drop the car off before work and they had it ready by the afternoon, as promised. They called me on my cell to tell me the work was complete and they sent a follow-up thank you note in the mail. There prices seemed very fair, and I never got the sense that they were trying to sell me more work than I needed.

Interesting place, full of characters. They were courteous, checked out the van in about 30 minutes while I waited, just charged me for the battery. And the best thing was, they installed the new battery and let me try it out for a week without my even giving them a dime. After a week of no dead battery I called them and arranged payment over the phone with my credit card. Couldn't have been easier. And I haven't had any battery problems since then (over a month ago now).

These guys are busy, so don't expect them to be able to take the car the day you call, but they are good. They took it when they said and all work was done that day. Very friendly and seem to know what they are doing. AC had a leaky condenser which would cost about $1,000.00 to repair, (I already knew this was true) but they said I was better off just getting it recharged every year until it would not last the season since I probably would not still have the car by then.

Service was outstanding and prompt.

SERVICE WAS VERY FRIENDLY, AND THEY WORKED TO FIT ME IN WHEN IT WAS CONVENIENT FOR ME. MY CAR WAS READY EARLIER THAN PROMISED, AND THEY WERE VERY FLEXIBLE ABOUT WHEN I COULD PICK IT UP. THEY MADE THE REQUESTED REPAIRS AND ALSO NOTICED AND REPAIRED A COUPLE OF OTHER MINOR ISSUES VERY QUICKLY AND INEXPENSIVELY. FINALLY, I FOUND A MECHANIC THAT I TRUST, AND I WILL NO LONGER TAKE MY CAR TO THE DEALER FOR ANYTHING!
