+ -1 moreJIM (WHO SOUNDED VERY PROFESSIONAL ON THE PHONE) TOLD ME THAT IT WOULD BE $40 PER CUBIC YARD FOR REMOVAL. AFTER A LAST MINUTE RESCHEDULE ON THEIR PART, THEY FINALLY SHOWED AT THE END OF THE DAY AND DECLARED THAT IT WOULD COST NEARLY TRIPLE WHAT WAS ESTIMATED ON THE PHONE. I GOT VARYING ANSWERS ABOUT THE DISCREPANCY: 'WELL THIS IS HEAVY STUFF' (NO MENTION WAS MADE ABOUT WEIGHT, JIM EXPLICITLY SAID COST WAS BASED ON VOLUME ONLY) AND 'IT'S REALLY 14 CUBIC YARDS OF DEBRIS' (NOT CERTAIN WHERE THEY PURCHASE THEIR RULERS FROM!). AND, AFTER I OPTED NOT TO USE THEM, WE SAW ONE OF THEM GRAB A TOMATO OFF OUR VINES ON HIS WAY OUT.
Description of Work: HAD APPROXIMATELY 5-6 CUBIC YARDS OF FRAMING AND DRYWALL DEMOLITION DEBRIS.
