A-1 sewer experts

This review is super late. We had sewer issues back in January 2019. But I want to make sure you know my story and the two heroes, Joseph and Buddy. In a quick summary, call this company: respectful, friendly and guarantee their work up to 30days. But if you want to know why I give them my highest recommendations, please read on. On Thursday Jan 24, we woke up to a bad sewer clog, the water was rising in our basement. So my 80yo father called a neighborhood plumber to come clear the clock. This other plumber came to our house, not only did he NOT clear the clog, but he took $250 from my father. Enraged, I called him and he was a really good con man, because the best lies are ones with a semblance of truth. He scared my father with a story of a $4500 job that needed to be done. Including a water flush, I know what that is but he told it "it's really strong like 30psi", right there, I knew he was lying. 30psi is the air pressure of a car tire. I work at a plumbing wholesaler so the next day, Friday Jan 25th, I asked around for recommendations for a good plumber, my co-workers who were expert in plumbing, did their own plumbing, but each one HIGHLY recommended Angie's List. Friday night, I got home and searched Angie's list-with in 5mins of posting my search, three plumbing companies IMMEDIATELY call/texted me. I called back the 1st plumber to call back. I assumed it would be a dispatcher who would talk to me and dispatch a plumber. Instead, my first call was answered by Joseph, who listened calmly as I vented my fury at the situation. But he was kind and thoughtful and his calmness dropped my blood pressure back to normal. He explained everything the price would include and told me that there should be no further fees. We agreed on a time and he would come the very next day. Saturday, Jan 26th. Joseph and his helper Buddy, came. They explained every step they were going. My family and I stood watching their every more, trust, but verify. And I never felt that there was any tension regarding us breathing down his neck, questioning every odd noise the rooter made. In a remarkable feat(I think we were just overly sensitized), but in literally 52mins, Joseph unclogged the sewer. We got to see our clog since the camera work was included in our price. Customer service is my no. 1 priority when I have to deal with service providers, and I cannot remember a better customer service with Joseph and Buddy. I have an adult brother who is autistic, he has the verbal development of a 5yo. He asks awkward questions but Joseph and Buddy remained friendly and gladly shook his hand as well. My bro has perfect jerk radar, I could tell by his reaction that Joseph and Buddy were one of the good guys. We're in Chicago by Elmwood Park, this company is in the south side of Chicago, I appreciate their work and would not hesitate to call them back. I have Joseph on my contact lists. That's how much respect I have for Joseph, I will only call him for our plumbing needs.

I had a major blockage in the grease trap aka sewer located in the back of my house. It was really bad it was backing up into my utility sink and in the wash machine. I found a guy on Craigslist he wanted to charge me $425 to come out and fix the problem. I thought that was extremely high so I headed to Angie’s list where I found A-1 sewer experts Joseph he quoted Me at $250. Which I thought was a great price. Joseph and his helper zeke came out. I was amazed at how professional they were. They were here about 6 hrs altogether the cleaned the main line going to the front of the house the cleaned the main line going to the back of the house in the grease trap they snaked the whole house including the water in the drains into the grease trap they also drained out the grease trap for me. They did a heck of a lot work and when the work was complete they cleaned everything up and gave me a 30 day warranty if it clogs up again they would come out and unclog it for me. So when I seen all the work they had done and it came time to square up with them I was a little worried they was going to try and run game and try and charge me 8 or 9 hundred dollars because we all have heard them horror stories but that wasn’t the case Joseph charge me $250 what he promised he would charge me. I was shocked I immediately reached into my wallet and handed him $300 and told him to keep it these guys are really good honest people I will never call anyone else for any type of plumbing needs
