303 TAXI

Worst ride of my life. Driver of taxi 241, was driving dangerously, verbally abusive, and refused to allow me to use my credit card. I complained to company and they refused a refund and didn't apologize either.

Once we were picked up the service was very professional and knew the are taking us home the best route.

After waiting more than 15 minutes, I called 303 back. First, I was told that the driver was stuck in the taxi pool. A second call was that the taxi has gone to the wrong place. Apparently, they will tell the first story that comes to them.

Once I retrieved my bags, I called 303 taxi (I had the number programed in my phone). The dispatcher told me the approximate wait time (5-10 minutes) and the taxi number that would serve me. I asked if it was coming from off property or if the taxi was on the O'Hare property (their staging area). The dispatcher was pleasant and stated the taxi was on the property. The taxi arrived within the time-frame and the driver was as expected. The driver was respectful and took me to my destination directly. Although he programed my destination in his GPS I was backseat driving telling him shorter and quicker ways to go. I liked the idea that he used a GPS, and he wasn't upset or questioning me when I rerouted him. I also used 303 Taxi when I went to the airport to start my trip.That driver too was professional.

I called 303 Taxi because the roads were too bad for me to even consider driving. I expected to wait for the cab to arrive, but it didn't take long at all. They text you when the cab has been dispatched and then again when they arrive. Willy was a terrific driver. He drove very safely and carefully. Believe me, he got a generous tip from me! Would I call this company again? Absolutely! Would I recommend them to friends? Absolutely!

I have used 303 Taxi for a couple of years, always for the last minute call and ride to dinner or a nightclub. They were not always prompt in responding, but eventually showed up. This time, I planned ahead. I had a flight early on a Saturday morning, so I called on Friday to schedule my taxi for 5:45am Sat morning. Knowing that I have waited on 303 taxi for as much as 45 mins, I scheduled it for 45 mins before I would leave if I were driving myself. Saturday morning 5:30am, I am ready and waiting for my usual text message from them stating a taxi has been dispatched, nothing. 5:45am (the time they are scheduled to be at my home) the taxi driver calls and asks if I can wait 20 minutes. I told him to forget it. They are completely undependable. I ended up driving myself and paying for 2 weeks of long term parking.

I would highly recommend 303 Taxi to someone who relies on public transportation in the suburbs.

My co-worker recommended 303 Taxi to me after I tried several taxi cab companies from the phone book and didn't have great results (operators that didn't speak English, late cabs, cabs that never showed up, etc.) I was pleasantly surprised with 303 Taxi on my first business trip with them when I had to go to O'Hare. They arrived early, got me to the airport, and gave me specific instructions on when and how to call them on my return trip home. They also took me from the airport to my home with no issues. Since then I have also used them for family vacations and other business trips, and they are very reliable. They know the area I live in very well and never have to ask for directions to my house. I'm not sure if they're the cheapest, but I'm willing to pay a little more for reliable service.

I've used 303 Taxi about 5 times, but won't be using them again. While I find their dispatch system easy to use and pleasant, the condition of their taxis and the professionalism of their drivers often leaves me frustrated. I've been in taxis with broken seats, broken seat belts, broken doors, etc. The last driver I had got lost on my way to my house despite my repeated directions. After 35 minutes and 4 wrong turns, he pulled out a GPS system he had in his car the whole time, but seemed reluctant to use.

I have used them in the past and they were fine. This last time it was NOT good. I called a few days ahead of my flight and booked a taxi. When they were 5-10 minutes late I called to find out when they would come/if they were still coming. They said a cab had broken down and that someone would be coming shortly. They were 45 minutes late to pick me up for my flight. The driver told me that the broken down cab was a lie. The real story is that my address was not fancy enough. Drivers assumed I was a cheap fair from my house to a grocery store or something. So no one wanted to pick me up. It was only after I called for the second time that they said on the taxi radio it was an airport run. THEN a driver was willing to pick me up. The driver did say that they had recently changed from a computer system to a radio system, that could have been part of the problem.

At 4:50 AM, I called to report the taxi had not arrived. Dispatcher said reservation was entered wrong and taxi would be 10 minutes late. Dispatcher later said taxi would be 15 min late. I canceled the taxi and woke up my neighbor and asked them to drive me to the train station. At 6 PM, taxi was not at the train station. I called dispatcher at 6:10 PM. They said taxi would arrive in 10 or 15 minutes, making the taxi 20-25 minutes late. I asked to contact driver for estimated time of arrival. They left me on hold and hung up. I called back. I told dispatcher the problem was the lack of notification that taxi is running late. The dispatcher yelled that they can't help if the taxis are late, and they won't call to notify you of the delay. Dispatcher said that if they called me with late taxi information, they'd have to call every customer when a taxi was running late. They will confirm your reservation, but they don't really reserve a taxi for you.

Terrible. We were asked by the dispatcher at the time of request if we wanted a minivan or a regular car and we said it didn't matter. When the driver dropped us off at home, he tried to charge us an excess charge because he drove a minivan. It wasn't even clean, English was a tenuous 2nd language, and it took three times as long for the driver to pick us up than the dispatcher promised.

To O'Hare - usually fine ... I call the night before and they're almost always here on time. From O'Hare - quick and responsive. Cabs aren't always the cleanest, though.

Always arrives at our home at or just a little ahead of scheduled time. Drivers are very good, careful and courteous and have a reasonable command of English (most are from former Soviet countries). There is a phone at each baggage pick-up area at O'hare to place a free call for a pick-up, so we don't have to hunt for change. Depending on traffic, the taxi usually arrives at the designated pick-up point at O-hare within 15 minutes.

Very good service. Easy website ordering. Easy phone system for pickup at airport.

Having used 303 Taxi numerous times in the past, we expected the same good service that we had always gotten. I was concerned in the morning when I called to reserve the cab and they weren't able to take my reservation at 7:30 am. But the woman said to call back in an hour and they should be able to accommodate me. I called back and was given a confirmation number for the 3:30 pick up. At 3:35 they called and said that the cab was running a bit late but would be there in about 15 minutes. For the next hour there were calls back and forth between us and the company. Each time we were told the same thing, they were about 15 minutes away. Finally at 4:30 the cab showed up. I asked the driver when he was assigned to pick us up and he had not been assigned until a little after 4:00!! Needless to say, we were furious. If our flight had not been delayed, we would have missed it since the delay in the cab put us right in the middle of rush hour and we didn't get to O'Hare until 6:00.

We use 303 exclusively, for trips from our home to either airport. They are always available, arrive early, have clean cabs, pleasant drivers, and affordable flat rates. For certain trips, they are a definite bargain over other alternatives. We will continue to use them.

MY FAMILY USES THE 303 TAXI COMPANY EVERY TIME WE NEED TO GET TO O'HARE FROM THE NORTH SHORE AREA, OR RETURN. THE DRIVERS ARRIVE ON TIME, THEY ARE FRIENDLY, & OVERALL THE EXPERIENCE IS VERY GOOD.

MY CAB DRIVER, SINCE 1996, HAS BEEN JYM ANTONOULLE. HIS CAB IS IMMACULATE. HE IS NEVER LATE. IF AN EMERGENCY COMES UP WHERE HE CAN'T MAKE IT, HE CONTACTS ANOTHER CAB DRIVER AND THEY ARE THERE ON TIME. IF THE CHANGE IN CABS IS AT THE O'HARE PICKUP END, HE FORWARDS HIS PHONE TO THE NEW CAB DRIVER SO WHEN I CALL I GET THE NEW CAB DRIVER - I DON'T HAVE TO GO SEARCHING. IN OTHER WORDS, HE TAKES CARE OF ME. I HAVE REFERRED HIM TO OTHERS WHO COMPLAINED ABOUT DIRTY CABS, CABS THAT SIMPLY DID NOT SHOW UP. THEY ALSO RAVE ABOUT HIM. ONCE YOU WORK WITH JYM, YOU WON'T GO BACK TO ANYBODY ELSE.

HAVING USED ANGIE'S LIST TO FIND A TAXI SERVICE, I CALLED THE NUMBER FOR MY AREA WHEN I WAS IN THE NORWOOD PARK AREA OF CHICAGO. THE DISPATCHER TOLD ME THAT MY LOCATION WAS CONSIDERED THE CITY, BUT THAT THEY WOULD SEND A CAB; IT WOULD BE ABOUT 20 MINUTES. I SAID ALRIGHT. AFTER WAITING OVER 30 MINUTES, I SECURED THE SERVICES OF A MORE LOCAL CAB COMPANY AND CALLED 303 TO TELL THEM NEVER MIND.

BOTH DRIVERS (GOING & COMING) WERE EFFICIENT AND THE RIDES WERE SMOOTH.

THEY WERE RIGHT ON TIME AND IT WAS A VERY NICE EXPERIENCE. I USED THEM COMING BACK FROM O'HARE AGAIN. THEY CHARGE A FLAT RATE.

THEY ARE VERY CLEAN, THEY HELP WITH MY LUGGAGE, AND THEY DRIVE SAFELY.
