Fantastic! Brad gave us an estimate on Thursday afternoon and stated they could complete the work within 10 days. While I was gone the following day, they came and completed the work. The area was cleaned up and you couldn't even tell they had been there.

Johnson's changed the date twice due to the weather. Which I understand, after all you can't work in lighting.  They called the morning of the day the work was to be done telling us that they were on the way.  They showed up on time and worked non stop 2 1/2 hours until the job was done.  Very efficient, professional, and courteous.  They cleaned up everything and it looked like they were never here except for the mulch that was left from the stumps, this was planed. They are very safety conscious. I could not be happier with Johnson Tree Service and I would use them again. They also give a senior discount.

The crew took the tree down, hauled it away,and ground the stump. The surrounding area was completely cleaned. We have used them before because they are so professional and so good at what they do.

Called Johnson tree service on Wednesday at 1 pm  and Brad said he would be by between 4-5 to give estimate. Brad showed up at 430 pm and was professional in every way. Brad said he would try real hard to do the work within 10 days. At 0900 Friday they showed up and less than hour to do the job. Very professional and timely job. Cleaned yard and everything looked great. Will use again.

On Tuesday, August 30, we were having our driveway torn up in preparation for laying stone when work had to stop because their back hoe could not remove an old  tree stump. Called 2 other companies for stump removal; one was going on vacation and could not come, the other never returned our call.  Called Johnson's Tree Service, Inc. Wednesday, August 31.  Brad Johnson came out within a few hours and gave us an estimate.  The worker arrived the next morning at 7:30 AM to grind out the stump, and the paving company was able to fill the driveway the same morning.

I have called two other tree services,both came out and gave me an estimate and once I called them back to perform the service; I never heard from them again.  This was my third try and I told the owner about my previous experiences.  He assured me he would do the estimate and the trimming.  I called on a Friday for the estimate and he showed up an hour later.  He was very professional and explained everything he was going to do as well as wanted very specific instructions.  I hired him a week later, the following Friday and the work was completed on Monday.  Everything was trimmed and completely cleaned up.  I am extremely satisfied with this company and would highly recommend to anyone.

Doug Johnson, who owns the company, came personally to discuss the details of the tree trimming I wanted and gave me a written estimate.  Upon receiving my approval in writing, his crew came the next week to complete the job.  The work was most satisfactory, and the men removed the debris from my yard.  There was no damage to my home, and the clean up was exceptional.  I was very happy with this service and would not hesitate to call upon this company in the future.

They are excellent in all phases. From his estimate to his explanations this company was top notch. They worked quick, clean, and safe. Have already placed a call for them for additional work.

Wonderful service!  Only one of 3 companies to respond.  On Tuesday, 8/30/11 our driveway was being torn out in readiness for new asphalt when work had to stop because of an old tree stump there which was too hard to remove with the Bobcat.  Called 2 other companies day of this job; one did not call back, the other said someone would be out to estimate next day 8/31.  By 4 PM Wednesday, no one had showed up.  We called Johnson Tree Service, Inc. and left a message.  Our call was returned at 6 PM and owner Brad said would be out before dark.  He came at 6:30 PM, gave the estimate, and had his workers out here at 7 AM today (9/1/11)!   The driveway company was able to complete the tear down.

The crew arrived on time.
Quickly and efficiently cut up and removed the fallen tree.
They did not damage any property nor create a disturbance.
The job was completed and the area cleaned of debris; all within the written bid price.

They were professional and efficient.

Showed up 10 minutes to eight in morning as agreed. Work grew consisted of 4 persons including the owner. Owner was the first to respond to estimate of all folks called. Estimate was lowest received. Started work on trimming large tree and removing pine. All work done with input from my wife to her complete satisfaction. Cleanup was complete, work resulted in what we expected when we let the job.

This company would not be listed on Angie's list had I not put them on here last year after using them for a second time. After this encounter, I would NEVER use them again!! I got a bid from them to do this work after having another company give me a bid. The first company's bid was $300. I understood Johnson's bid to be $75 higher, but because I had used them before, I went with them. I should have chosen the other company! Once Johnson finished this work and came to the door with their invoice, they wanted 3 times that amount, saying that each activity they performed was a separate line item; not inclusive as the bottom of the bid-sheet indicated and as Brad had indicated when he was first here. Rather than trying to come to an understanding on what seemed to be a misunderstanding, Brad and his son chose to enter into a screaming match with me; calling me a cheat, hoping I can live with myself, etc. I told Brad that I NEVER would have hired him if I thought his bid was for $975, because the other company is also a reputable, long-standing company found on Angie's List. I have NEVER had such an unprofessional encounter with a contractor in all my life! On top of this, the clean up was not that good and I wound up with other landscaping trampled, plants that got cut that shouldn't have.

Requested estimate. He responded the same day. Actively suggested the way the trees should be trimmed to avoid the "bald" look. His estimate was the same price as others that I got, but he projected how much he cared that it be done correctly. I accepted the estimate on Friday, and he returned on Tuesday morning. He did a beautiful job. The debris was totally cleaned up, even to the lawn furniture arrangement. It took three hours.

I called a number of tree services to get estimates. Brad Johnson was the first to respond to my call and the first to come to my house for an estimate. He spent about an hour explaining the best way to properly trim my trees. His price was fair-he was neither the highest nor the lowest estimate. Brad Johnson and crew did a great job. They arrived on time (8:30 am) and were done around noon. Brad took the time to give me a very detailed estimate-and the job he did was exactly as described. In fact, he left my yard in better shape than before he came!

THEY WERE EFFICIENT, VERY POLITE. THEY DID A REALLY GREAT JOB WITH EVERYTHING! WOULD DEFINITELY USE THEM AGAIN!
