The workers did a fine job. Professional,clean, accurate.
The owner involved me in some scheme to pay the men later by writing the check to her.
Unfortunately they refused to finish and, they said "you have to pay her." I explained that I had, and that she had their money and that anyway it wasn't my business to see that she paid them in a timely fashion.
I was embarrassed and angry to be put in that position. They must have settled things because they finished the work but they have never contacted me or come back to take out the stumps. Several calls resulted in promises to get it done. It has not been done and it has not been paid for.
I'm not sure I want them back here, anyway.
