I have an excellent arrangement with Lawncare by Walter where they call a day or two before they are going to be in my neighborhood to see if it is convenient to apply the lawn treatment. I also have the option not to have one done if I so choose. They arrive on the date they are scheduled to come in a timely manner, and leave the bill on my front door. For my yard, approximately 2/3 acre, it is around $100+ per application. Every person I have ever spoken to at the company has been friendly and accomodating. I would highly recommend them.

They give you a discount if you pay upfront for all treatments. I have not seen Walter, various people come out to do the treatments. I have a lot of shrubs so it takes awhile to do, maybe about an hour.

Our yard looked absolutely horrible before we started the service. Now, especially with the rainy spring and early summer, our yard looks fantastic. It is green and mostly weed-free. We still have violets and occasional clover, but the really bad weeds are gone. The weedkiller they use is not excessively strong. I have asked them about the violets and they've indicated that violets are not considered a weed; therefore, some may still survive the weed treatment. That is fine with us. They are careful about where they spray the herbicide. I was very pleased, too, with how quickly they responded to my initial call.

Mike is always very friendly and does a great job. He doesn't rush through the application to ensure full coverage. Other commercial companies base there applications by how quickly they can do a hit and run application. In fact in the past they have striped my lawn where you can see they made passes but didn't provide full coverage. Not LawnCare by Walter they crisscross the lawn to make sure the lawn is fully covered. Really makes a huge difference compared to the large commercial guys. I highly recommend LawnCare by Walter..

Lawn care by Walter has improved our lawn in a big way. We have struggled to get our lawn looking great but we are in our second season with Walter it is looking amazing. We tried a big name company and they could not get it done. We now have a thick green lawn that we expect to continue to improve even more with their continued efforts

He came in to put the stuff to kill the weeds, and he said that if it rains, I should just call him and he will come back and do it. Any time I have a problem, I call them and they come back and redo it without any charge. I have used them for years.

We have used them for the past 2 years and have had no problems with their service. Their pricing is competitive.
They were flexible when I needed to rearrange services because of a large landscaping project I was doing (they showed up when I was working in the yard and I asked if they could come back the following week. They said no problem).
We pay for the whole season up front. This year there was a misunderstanding and they did a grub control application even though I didn't order it. To be fair, we did discuss it at the beginning of the season, but I said I would wait and make that decision later. When they did the application and left me the bill, I called the office and explained that we had only discussed this and I had not planned on ordering this service this year. She apologized and took my information and said they would look into it and call me back. The next morning I received a call with an apology and they said they would reverse the charges on that application. Needless to say, I was very pleased with their prompt and agreeable resolution!
They have earned our recommendation and we will continue to use their services.

the supervisor was the sales person, and did a fantastic job. the crews were very hard working and friendly. this is the way a project should go.. they left extra sand in case I needed it later. Even used the sod supplier I wanted, so a perfect match could be made.

After they seeded my lawn, they didn't use straws to cover the seedlings. Instead they used the cheapest thing they could find. It didn't help the seeds germinate nor fend off the birds. Had to get them back and they charge heavily for straw mat. When grass sprout, there are numerous spots where seeds were insufficient. They said they will take care of it; well they didn't. They said they take care of water pooling in yard; they didn't. Spent more than I needed to for the work they did, which was lousy.

In regards to the product we used instead of a straw blanket; penn mulch is used in comparison to a straw blanket due to the pricing of straw blanket being very costly to the customer. It is used quite a bit by many in our industry and it is more cost effective for our customers without compromising quality. In regards to the seeding; seeding can never be 100% guaranteed by anyone due to environmental reasons such as the weather and the amount of water the seedlings receive over a period of time. This response to your review is not by any means a way to excuse what has happened and we are truly sorry that you were not happy with our services. We hope that you will call us in the future and give us a second chance to make things right. Thank you for your feedback!"
