 + -1 moreTheir card said they were licensed, Bonded and Insured. We checked with the State of Illinois and found that they were not licensed roofers as they advertised. They were probably not insured either since they stopped taking our calls asking for reimbursement for the repairs. We filed a complaint against them with the Illinois Attorney Generals office who contacted them on our behalf. They assured the AG's office that they would take care of our problem but never did and continued not to return our calls. We finally dropped the case and took our losses. Our only recourse now is to warn other people through Angies List.
Description of Work: We were back in Champaign visiting recently and were amazed to see these people are still in business. Several years ago before we moved away they put a roof on a duplex for us in Champaign. During the process they ruined a piece of guttering and promised to replace it. Not only did they not replace the guttering as promised, the roof that had not previously leaked began to leak due to poor workmanship. Because they would not respond to our requests, we had to pay a reputable roofer an additional $1200 to fix what they had done improperly and had to repair drywall damaged by water. .
