He would not let me complete a sentence. He kept walking away from me, talking down to me, telling me to send the watch to the manufacture. This is all after they told me over the phone they could work on it.
I think the walking away and telling me the other watchsmith was stupid is what was bothering the most. Now if he would have opened the watch and looked at it ....or at the very least if he would have let me tell him what was wrong with the watch than; if he called the watchsmith stupid, I would not have minded as much. But he still does not even know what is wrong with the watch. The conversation went like this.
Me: Hi I had this watch looked at by...
Spritz: cutting me off. That guy does not know what he is talking about.
Me: Ok,well, he showed me this broken
Spritz: again cutting me off and walking away saying, well there is a right way and wrong way.
Me: I just stood there dumbfounded. I did not know what was happening.
I could go on but it just got stranger.
The second watch needed a battery. I would have walked out by this time but another employee had already taken my Tissot and opened it. Once I discovered that they opened my watch I just felt a dark cloud roll in.
When they changed the battery they did not put the second watch back together correctly the first time. So there is possibly of a damaged gasket. Also they did not even know how to set the time on the watch. I found that very confusing. The watch is a Tissot and while they had it they kept saying Seiko. I am not sure if they thought the watch was a Seiko or what they were doing. But I now need to go to Windsor jewelry in Indy to see if the Tissot suffered any damage from the mishandling. The gasket is possibly damaged.
My daughter was with me and she commented several times when we left how proud she was that I did not lose my temper with the way they treated me.
I will never go back.
