I called for a quote, they were here within a couple days to walk my property and talk to me about what I was wanting. When I signed the quote they told me they were booked out until early September but called end of July and I was next on schedule! I love my fence!!!

Overall the work and quality were very poor compared to the price we paid. They don't stand by there product/work.

The first step was for the estimator to come out to measure our yard space and gather information on the kind of fence we wanted installed. We also needed to include the removal of the old existing fence which had been double-sided. We initially thought we wanted to change the footprint of the fence and an estimate was provided for that; but.......we changed our mind and needed to change the estimate to replace the fence to surround the same area as the old fence. This was not a problem; the company was very accommodating and did not get upset about the change. The crew came to remove the old fence and install the new fence within a week. They did an excellent job - and used real nails (yah!) which was good because the previous installer had used staples and that did not hold up well. We are very happy with our fence and if we ever need a replacement or change in the fence we will contact them again. I would highly recommend them.

Better than expected. The crew came up with a better option that the original proposal, and it was $75 cheaper.

The project went well from start to finish. Skip was the estimator assigned to us and he was very helpful; we were not sure if we wanted to replace the fencing exactly or enclose a smaller portion of the yard. At first we decided to enclose a smaller portion but then, just before the installers came, changed our mind to full replacement - there was no problem; both Skip and the installers were great and accepted the last minute change without problem. We chose the 6' red cedar dog-earred fence and could not be more satisfied with it. Our neighbors have also come to look at it and indicated they also liked the fence. While SK is a little more expensive than others there work and professionalism was well worth the investment. We have no complaints at all and would definitely hire this company again for any projects we might have.

OUTSTANING IS AN UNDESTATEMENT

Our backyard wasn't enclosed, but the neighbors behind & on either side had fences up. We have two small dogs, and wanted them to be able to go off the leash, but not get under the fence. There is also an easement adjacent to the property (power line tower), that needed to be worked around. Sales rep "Jordan" from SK Fence came out 3/10/16 to measure and quote a price. Very professional & friendly, knowledgeable, asked questions to clarify desired service. Made sure that the fence would run how we wanted, while not encroaching on the easement. Also, he let us know what we needed to do (call JULIE, get permit from city), and even walked us through what information we would need for the permit. 

Installers came out 3/15/16, well within time range given. Not the most professional appearance, but friendly enough. They walked through with me to verify work to be done, then got to it. They dug holes, placed the posts, and poured cement, then attached the fencing and ran the bottom wire (left no protruding wire ends). Outside of a little turned earth, there wasn't any leftover mess. Installer walked the fence with me to check it out, and make sure I was satisfied. 

I can't remember if it was the sales rep or the installer, but I asked one of them about our neighbor's fence. It was stretched and warped along the bottom in some places, and I asked whether I should go ahead and ask the neighbor if we could get a bottom wire put on it; instead, they suggested that we purchase some railroad ties from Lowe's to lay across the back of the yard, which would also help a little with erosion. Very impressed at them not taking the quick buck, that's always the way to guarantee my return business. Final price was exactly as quoted. 

As far as satisfaction, it's been 3 months now, and no issues. All posts still vertical, all fence still intact, and no gaps or anything. Even more pertinent, our neighbors asked who did it; they were so impressed, they're thinking about having SK replace their old fence, too!

We have a roof that is over 20 years old, as well as older wooden siding. SK will definitely be on the top of my list when it's time to have more work done!

Very responsive with my calls, especially compared to many others who did not call back.  Very fair price and even found some areas to improve mistakes by the builder at a low cost.  Cleaned up after and stayed on time with what they said they would do.  I was very impressed and I recommend them to anyone.

Very courteous and professional. The fence was installed as they had described, and on time. They cleaned up afterwards. They were very responsive on the phone even after the job was completed. We had an issue with the door not latching, and they promptly corrected it. The fence looks great, and so far we have had no problems. We would definitely recommended them for aluminum fencing.

Excellent job. Worked around obstacles and issues with no complaints. Came on time and finished on schedule. Prior to installation, sales person was very professional and accommodating to changes I requested. Always returned my calls/emails promptly. Installers were very nice and dug many post holes by hand to avoid disrupting existing landscaping. They gave me several chances to see and approve the installing along the way before posts were set in. They were also respectful of neighbors property. I couldn't be more pleased.

The first day (of two) they showed up as planned. We did the walk-thru and there were going to be few issues due to a telephone pole and where I wanted a gate. However, that was not an issue for them. Tyler was so professional and experienced that he immediately had work-arounds and they were perfect. They pulled out the fence, luckily for them, they were staked in and not put in concrete. By the time they left for the day, they had the posts concreted in. In less than five minutes after they left, we got a huge downfall. The next day, they finished. One neighbor had some issues and was really mad about our fence, but the SK Team stayed calm, cool, and collective. The gate they thought would be an issue turned out fabulously! They cleaned up their mess before taking off. Kyle, the VP (I think) even stopped by on Thursday to see how things were going. Loved those guys and their work ethic!

Thought I wanted black metal fencing to divide my yard from the neighbors. Realized with their help that bronze tone would be a softer look but appear black. Went to the height they suggested. Love it. So do the neighbors. They were concerned what we were installing. Understandable...but couldn't be happier with the appearance. Professional. Quick. Neat.

The salesperson was completely professional and knew what he was doing. Unfortunately the same cannot be said of the work crew. They put the graduated hog wire fencing--only a part of the fencing we had done--on upside-down. I had to ask them to turn it right-side up, which they did before they left. Other problems that have shown in the 3 months the fence has been up include: the privacy fence custom gates have hardware that split the wood; and other hardware on the same gate is rubbing a hole in the deck; another gate is so tight I can barely get it open. Overall I wish I had waited another week and gotten another company to do the fence.

It went quite smoothly, I worked with two departments, siding & fencing, to accomplish the work, and was pleased with their co-ordination & the finished work.

Roof is great and gutters are great. Siding is ok, Moore cuts and gaps than I like. A year later I realized there was still rotted wood in out half bath and the replacement wood was in sections not full boards. So I have more to do. Got another quote for smaller roof which was much higher than the year before not sure if it's worth it.

They did a great job. They cleaned up everything, the crew were great. The only problem we had with them was the weather; you can't put a metal roof on when it is hot and the rain. There is one downside to that company; the communication between us and the salesman and the crew was as my husband says, less than it could have been. It was much cheaper than having an asphalt single roof. The worker were always here on time.

Originally emailed requesting an estimate to repair wooden fence in back yard. Fence on one side of the yard was leaning badly due to tree trimmers using it for a support, fence on the opposite side had large gate that opened to allow boat/trailer in, and 2 smaller gates for entrance to house/garage. The gate was so heavy that the entire fence sagged in the middle after not being closed properly, pulling the outer gates away from the posts. The hasps on these had been fixed temporarily but something needed to be done to straighten out the full length of the fence.
Tom from Sand K called that day and set up an appointment for beginning of next week. He arrived promptly and gave me an estimate for both jobs of $1725 which including fixing the one side and replacing the fence with the large gate. My biggest concern was the first fence falling over and I thought the estimate was reasonable for the work,. I decided to just repair the first side and hold off doing the longer side since the fence is functional. When I called to see if I was committed to both jobs, Tom told me I could just go with the repair and we could hold off on the other. He originally had estimated work would be done in 3-4 weeks, by the end of the month. I was pleasantly surprised to come home from work and find the fence repaired within 10 days. I am very relieved that with any wind or snow and ice accumulation this will not fall over!

Work was done on time. Onced started, they worked to completion in two days. I had some clean up issues. They left some old shingles and nails in some shrubbery. Also left many nails in the gutters that washed out into yard in first rain. Quality of work was extremely good. It was difficult communicating with them during the job, since they barely spoke English.

Our initial call to the estimator led to his scheduling an appointment in two days time. He was thorough, informative, and helpful, and he was willing to arrange for blow-in insulation. Unlike some other companies, he was not pushy or high powered, though he clearly believed in the quality of SK's work. He was quick to return phone calls. He told us that they would be able to start in 4 or 5 weeks. He kept in contact with us when the start date went into the fifth week. They began on schedule. They put in very long days. There was one rain day when they did not work, but they finished the job in 5 days.
We are thrilled with their work. The crew who did our work were of Hispanic origin, but the language difference did not pose a problem since their foreman spoke English clearly. There was a slight problem on the first day in which the foreman had been told to remove just the aluminum siding. Some of the wrap was already being installed when we realized that they had not taken the old siding underneath off. I took the contract out. The foreman called his boss to clear up the matter. He was courteous, saying that there had been a misunderstanding, and they removed the wrap and tore the shingles off as the contract indicated.
Our house was transformed by the siding and it looks better than it has looked in the 20 years we have lived here. The workers worked with no interruptions. Things were done precisely. They were conscientious about cleaning up the residue of tearing off siding, etc. I think that they had a strong sense of pride in their work.
We had been disappointed by previous contractors who did not give us estimates or come when they said they would come. It was a pleasure working with SK Home Improvement. Their reliability and their high quality work is much appreciated. We will invite them back to work on future projects.
