John R King Roofing

We are still trying to collect damages awarded by the court. Now we find out that John King has declared bankruptcy at the Federal Court in Danville. This guy is BAD NEWS. Avoid him at at all costs. Please do your homework before hiring him.

This guy is bad news.  In 2007 he put a roof on our home and left a 3/4" gap around the chimney.  He did not repair a problem area as promised before he started.  He left an area open overnight.  Rainstorm that night ruined the kitchen ceiling.  I had to hire a different contractor to repair substandard work left by King,  In 2009 I had to sue to receive minimal compensation.,  I am still trying to collect damages awarded by small claims court of Champaign County.  Don't take my word for it.  Look him up on 1.  Circuit Court of Champaign County;  2. Attorney General's Office 1-217-278-3366 and ask for number and list of complaints;  or Better Business Burear 1-309-688-3741.  Stay away from this guy.  He promises big and delivers little and has an excuse for everything.

It hasn?t turned out very well. Our roof has been leaking and the siding is bowed. They windows he installed were wrong as well, he checked with my sister not myself when he ordering. He isn?t very good at responding to calls either! His workers didn?t seem to have much skill either, they were cursing outside where others could hear and didn?t clean up very well either.
