Where do I even begin with this horrendous company. I know that most people that post negative reviews have done something wrong but not in our case. Maintenance is staggeringly slow, it's almost IMPOSSIBLE to get anything fixed in a timely manner. Have had problems with our sliding glass door since we moved in, phoned them about it SEVERAL times, someone came out stuffed weatherstripping in between the two doors, which spread the doors open and I was sitting in my living room during a storm and ended up SOAKED in my own living room. That was over a month ago, no one has been back to replace the door. Our lease is up and we are NOT renewing with them. We have been applying elsewhere but for some reason our rental history kept coming back as "sketchy " we FINALLY had a property tell us that Green Street Realty told them and I quote "they have a co-signer, they don't pay their rent and are completely dependent upon their co-signer." EXCUSE ME, WHAT!?? let's add SLANDER to the list of complaints. We DO indeed have a co-signer and a check is given to them, BY our co-signer (because that is how they felt more comfortable being a co-signer for us and we give our co-signer the cash.) Mind you BEFORE renting from them I had 9 YEARS of excellent rental history, however my boyfriend had no credit, so we needed a co-signer. When I called them about this issue, the woman who answered the phone was rude, yelled at me, and said "we don't tell people those things." But then she informed me that she had just taken over the rental referral responsibilities and just kept saying "I'm sorry, they shouldn't have done that, moving forward, it won't happen again." Well what the **** am I going to do about ALL the places I have ALREADY applied at?? The ones that believe I have sketchy rental history because of the slanderous filth that came out of their mouths. I will not recommend them to anyone, I would never rent from them, I would rather be homeless than deal with these senseless, wankers! DO NOT RENT FROM THESE A-WADS
