Freedoms Choice

Without writing a book on this disaster of an experience, let me try to summarize it for others who may be thinking about taking their motorcycle to David for repair work. I am fairly knowledgeable in motorcycle repair, I had performed a resto-mod of a 70's model motorcycle from the ground up, I had performed about 90% of the work, but I wanted to get a professional to wire up the electronics. I approached David at Freedom's Choice because he was supposed to be a classic motorcycle mechanic, or so I thought. This guy made lots of promises, but asked for money as he went along $500 here, $500 there until I was paid and full, it was over budget and over price, but I capitulated, that's when all work ceased and my troubles began. He performed a minimal amount of work that I could have done myself, and in the end did not complete the job. My motorcycle sat in his shop for 10 months, I had to get a lawyer involved, and in the end, I had to get another motorcycle repair shop to go and pick up my cycle and finish the job that I had already paid him to do. Stay away from here, you have been warned!

They have good service at a good price.  It’s a small staff, but they are very skilled.

David and his team completed the first stage of a restoration on my vintage Honda. I've seen the business grow and develop into a full service motorcycle service. When my bike broke down, David personally came and picked it up and took it back to his shop. The next day, his mechanic sat down with me and walked me through what was wrong and gave me an idea of what caused it. From that point it's been a rebuild of a motorcycle that no other shops in the area would even touch. Most dealers wont work on a bike as old as mine and I'm not the most skilled mechanic... from now on, Freedoms Choice will have my business.
