Flooring America

We initially selection flooring that had a tongue in grove design, but we didn't realize that it didn't have the snap together feature.  Instead it would have needed gluing together, which we didn't want.  Bryan was completely understanding and, as noted above, placed a special order for a similar flooring with the snap together feature.  Although it was a higher cost, he did not charge us for the additional cost.  Bryan was very professional throughout and helpful in identifying our options.  The installation crew (Eric and Alan) did the job well, including adjusting to unevenness in some areas of the concrete underfloor.  We appreciate the work.

The company did an excellent job all the way through. They were friendly and professional.

First, once we decided on the carpet and had the measurements taken, it took the rest of the week to get the numbers and even then I had to double check, correct and clarify what we were having done and in which room.  Sales person couldn't seem to remember what was where, due to days between visiting the site and when she was actually writing out the details.  Once we put the order in,  (we assumed this was carpet in stock) it took over 2 more weeks to get the carpet.  Because I needed to refine travel arrangements for myself, I discussed (with this same salesperson) when the carpet was expected, and she confirmed an installation date with me on a Monday.  On that Thursday, I got another call from someone else wanting to set up an installation date!  Come to find out, she hadn't really set up the installation at all.  The person she indicated would be doing the job wouldn't even be available that week!  We were able to get the installation date done as was first agreed, but with different installer.
The installer came and was very professional about doing the job and I was happy with everything except 1 potential seam in the carpet that couldn't be avoided.  (The company 'guarantees' their seams, but what does that mean?)  We did have problems with the seam after vacuuming 2 times and I called the installer back and set a date for him to return.   Unfortuneately, they didn't keep that date and we had to go back and forth with the company and wait some more to get the installer out to look at how they could correct the problem. 
As far as I know they 'fixed' the problem of the seam (ragged pieces coming out), though I have not been able to see for myself.

I spent roughly $1500 on that service.  They got the work done in 2 weeks.

The people from Flooring America were prompt and they completed the job on time. They gave me a good price and they are a good company. They offered good financing options.
