Window World Inc

We thought everything was going fine but then everything went south. The installers had all the old windows out and found there was a mismeasurement in the dining room. They had to reinstall the old windows while the right ones were ordered. The bathroom windows were wong--we ordered obscure glass for both sashes and got clear glass so we had to have those ordered right. When the owner found out about it, she proceeded to tell us we could withhold $1000.00 from the balance due. Of course, she was coming out ahead since we would be paying for some wrong windows. She finally changed it to $1500.00 (more like it). She acted like I was the one wrong for complaining that they were not what I ordered. The installers were courteous and professional; however, the owner's lack of professionalism was shocking. We were going to order a main entrance door but someone else got that business. Also, I advised a relative not to deal with this company after all. Windows seem to be good quality but I don't like an owner yelling at me or those who work for her.

They came out to see me after I called for an appointment. They showed up on time, even calling to make sure the office knew they were at my house. They had the most complete explanation of the company and the window of all the others I had called. The salesman, Jim, was really nice, and was not pressuring me at all. He even told me that he was only there to make sure I knew what my options were. I was a little worried about how long it was going to take to put them in, but when the installers came, they did one window at a time, and it was done in less than a day. They used a vacuum, and drop cloths, and picked up everything. I have already seen a drop in my bills, and the house is quieter too
