manila envelope with a roof inspection document saying I could do such
and such for another 1,000. Did they clean my gutters? No clue, I have
a 2 story house and couldn't tell since they never made contact with
me. Pretty shady if you ask me. I obviously didn't contact them for further work.

We bought the $99 Whole House Gutter and Roof Inspection offered on Angies List on 31 Dec 2014. I understand the weather at this time of the year is not conducive to gutter cleaning and we were informed they would be out when the weather was warmer. They called to notify us they would be out at our house, but there was some difficulties finding us and we all agreed to have them out some time on 6 or 7 April.
When they arrived today, my wife received no notification they were here except the sound of footsteps on the roof of our home: the team made no effort to inform her they were here and were starting. I happed to arrive home from work just as they were ready to leave and spoke to one of the workers. He informed me they removed the debris from our gutters. I asked about the downspouts and he informed me the cleared some debris from the entrance of the downspouts and they should be fine. He then informs me that the rubber boots around the stacks of my home are cracked and worn and need to be replaced......... I inform him I had a new roof put on three years ago, a which point his story takes a slight turn and the roof is fine and the boots should last four or five more years hut the still need replacing. He informs me that he is going to speak to his partner about the bill; which is code for grab the ladder and leave. Again, not a word was said, they just disappeared as quickly and quietly as they appeared.
Yes, upon inspection the gutters were cleared of debris. No, the downspouts are not cleared; they are as plugged-up as ever which is why I purchased the service in the first place. I later learn after speaking to a representative that downspouts have to be specified. This is news to me, I have paid for gutter cleaning in the past and downspouts were always included. So, up I go on the roof to flush out the downspout (the one thing I did NOT want to do) and in less than a minute with my garden hose the downspout is clear. While up on the roof I inspect my stack-boots....and what do I find, that they are as good as the day they were installed three years ago!!!
WHAT A CON!!! I can't believe (maybe I should) that this guy is going to look me in the face and straight-out lie to me in order to scam me out of new stack-boots and who knows what else!! Adding insult to the injury of having to climb on the roof and clear my own downspouts.
I cannot express enough my total dissatisfaction with my experience. Overall, I would like to give them an F, but the gutters were cleared. I can say with total confidence: I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN.

I was in a jam to quickly get the issues assessed and repaired since I was selling my home and placed on a tight response time by the potential buyers. D&S quickly responded, evaluated the issue, provided a quote, and repaired the damage. I believe the whole process took less than five days (this includes my initial contact to them). They were able to match the siding perfectly and their response was lightening fast.
They are a smaller local company, which I love being able to support, with outstanding customer service. If you want someone who can respond quickly and do a fantastic job at a reasonable price for siding, gutter, or roofing repairs, this is the team you want to work with. They are simply outstanding!

Having said all of that, they had all of the gutters cleaned within about an hour, and no safety incidents or damage to anything around the yard or as far as I know to the gutters, and none of the gutter crap was lying around anywhere that I could see - so all good!
