"This "review" disturbs me very much due to the inaccurate statements throughout, and I have the entire email chain to prove it. Customer was never "quoted" $ 400.00; I was asked in an email for a rough estimate for a standard door installed. My response was $ 400.00 - $ 500.00. I charged the customer $ 450.00, due to the fact that I spent over three hours picking it up at Lowe's and delivering to her garage. I met my two man crew there in the morning to explain, and picked up the old door and debris in the afternoon - standard procedure for most construction jobs. There was no contract to put in a 6-panel door, and the door that was purchased was incorrect for the application. The customer wanted the same trim re-installed, as it was rosettes and fluted casing. The top section was too short to re-install, we certainly would have installed a new piece, however the customer said they would replace it. Insulating, replacing interior and exterior trim, and caulking interior and exterior are all standard procedure for every contracted door installed by us. The two pieces missing were missing from the factory, no way to tell since the door was completely wrapped when I picked it up. The most aggravating part of this review is that they went to Angie's List to review, rather than a phone call to me to explain her concerns. All of this could have, and would have, been resolved easily."
