At first, I was impressed by how nice & professional their staff at the front desk are. They recognized my concern over my baby's health, as their own. Unfortunately, that's where the positivity ended. The doctor came in and i explained to her what was going on & i knew exactly the issue cause i had been thru this before with a few of my pups. Everything i said was wrong & she was extremely condescending. We were sent off with a script for antibiotics & to cal if he worsens. So a day& a half later we were back cause my dog was progressively getting worse. They finally did the test they would've done on the first visit IF SHE HAD LISTENED to a word i said. And of course the problem i knew it was& told her it was, was confirmed. We have spent a lot of money to make him a successful service dog & i almost lost him due to her incompetence & condescending attitude. We were charged double because she thought she knew better. To me it seems they are more concerned with charging & getting paid for as many unnecessary tests & charges as they can before taking care of the actual issue. Long story short, my boy got his life saving surgery elsewhere. And now he's as good as new.

Not well at all. Every vet I have ever been to except this one seems to be in this line of work because they have a love for animals this one seems to be completely disassociated from pets. If I had to guess he's only in it for the money and not helping others (meaning our 4 legged friends). His bed side manor was poor at best. All he said is you can pay this and maybe we can help. The vet tech was very nice and she's the one we primarily dealt with but I'm not paying to talk to her I'm paying for vet services and all he did was a super quick examination then recommended extra test at a pretty high cost. Then he was like sorry I have no clue not even a good educated guess but you can pay out even more to do these other test X-rays ect have no clue if I'll still know or you can take your pet home and see what happens. Only to watch it die within twenty four hours. So all in all not very well. I had to ask the vet tech for some advice as to how to try to care for my pet and she gave really limited advice and the vet didn't even bother to try to advice us in someway. Very sad I've paid a lot less money to go to other vets and they have given me the time of day.

I LOVE this animal hospital. Despite it being a bit out of the way for where I live, I wouldn't go anywhere else. I started having trouble with my much older cat and went to my local vet for opinions. They basically made a lot of guesses and threw medication at the issues. I was unwilling to put my 16 year old cat on 3 medicatons and have him hate me and hide from me every day, so I sought a second opinion. Dr. Fritz was excellent. Everyone was. From the techs to the front desk, I felt very welcomed and valued. I did have to wait just a bit for the doctor, but when he came in Dr. Fritz spent 30-40 minutes just talking to me about what his interpretations were of the tests that were run by the other vet and all the options I had. he was very respectful of teh fact that I was looking for my cat to have a good quality of life, not prolonging it as long as I possibly could. In the end, he concurred with the findings of the other vets but gave me other options. We decided to go with antibiotics and diet change as short term solutions to see what the outcome would be. So far, they are working out great! (Knock on wood.) He did let me know some other more expensive options, but did not push them at all. I would reccomed this vet to anyone. I even got a handwritten welcome card and follow up about my cat in the mail. Awesome!

I was concerned when my dog, Murphy had some lumps growing on his thigh. I saw the Cary Grove Animal Hospital in my town but I had been going to another veterinary office. However, the office I had been going to seem to always have different doctors. The last doctor was not gentle at all and the one before that had cut his nails too short and they bled.
I had heard from 2 friends in town that they went to Cary Grove Animal Hospital and they raved about this place. So I decided to take Murphy there.
First of all, the receptionist, April was so pleasant it was refreshing. Dr. Catherine Knight saw Murphy. Dr. Knight and her assistant were so kind and gentle with Murphy. Dr. Knight examined him, then took blood tests and x-rays. Her assistant took Murphy out back to get a stool sample. Dr. Knight answered all of mine and my husband's questions. I told her I could easily see how compassionate she was with animals and Murphy. She told me she would call me later that evening after she examined the x-rays. Dr. Knight called me and told me she believed that Murphy did not have cancer but the lumps are just something common in Labs. Dr. Knight said she wanted Dr. Fritz, the owner, to also look at the x-rays. The next day Dr. Fritz called to say he concurred with Dr. Knight and if the lumps ever start to bother Murphy there are ways to remove them, but for now he is just fine. I was amazed. How wonderful to find a veterinary office that truly cares about animals. I immediately switched to this office. No more guessing who was going to see my dog.
From the front desk to the offices, people were pleasant. The prices were better than what I was paying also. I highly recommend this office to anyone. You can check out their website. Dr. Fritz also is experienced with the care of many other animals.
The office is right behind the Chase bank. Go once and see. Your pet will like it better too. I know Murphy does.
