BARN NURSERY & LANDSCAPE

Everything went per budget and per plan, very satisfied with the finished product.

We had 2 eight foot tall arborvitae trees delivered and installed on October 1, 2011. We cared for them and they were healthy in the spring of 2012. The long hot summer was h****** all our trees which we watered to the roots. At the end of summer we noticed they were turning yellow like our other trees. I called the Barn Nursery and asked them to take a look at them. The owner himself came and assessed the trees. It took 2 weeks for us to get the prognosis that we had killed the trees by not watering them. Their guaranty does not cover delivery or installation of new trees. They also did not pay us for both trees. It would be over $500 to replace the dead trees. This is meant to warn anyone that when you think your trees are covered 100% if they die think again! Not with the Barn Nursery. I have found other nurseries since that do cover trees for 2 years at 100% and also cover the installation and delivery. I will not do business with the Barn Nursery anymore.

The landscape department is great at creating plans that incorporate everything that I ask for. Most of their prices are just a little bit over Home Depot, but they guarantee the plants better. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful when I’m purchasing the plants. The plants have always been strong and healthy, too.

I called for their assistance and they came right over. They are near by. They are easy to get a hold of and very helpful. We were personally assisted by the owners wife. She made sure we were satisfied.

My husband and I went out to the original nursery( Flowerwood) where we bought this tree 20 years ago. Boy have they changed. We first went to Flowerwood few weeks earlier. There was only 1 person in the store though she was pleasant she did not know if they carried this tree. She then called on a walkie talkie and asked if there were any and was told no but they would be, in a few weeks. We left out phone number because the woman on the walkie talkie said she would call me later. A few hours later this woman did call me and said she would call me as soon as they come in. I also asked her about the disease my tree had died from and could she reccommend something for it. She told me there was this oil. Weeks past and on this very cold day while out my husband said let's go check that nursery out even though we did not get a call from them. We went there, met the same pleasant woman and she called on the walkie talkie to the same woman who said, that "yeah the trees came in awhile ago but I think there are a few left.". Then we were told we could go outside and look at the trees. No one told  us where the trees were just to go out side and start looking. Good thing my husband and I know what they look like but it was very cold and rainy and it took us awhile. We found 6. I noticed that something was different though but could not figure it out. My husband said "Look" These trees are already diseased!" They wanted $379.00 for diseased trees! We went back into the store and told the young lady and she called the woman back on the walkie talkie and the woman replied. Oh they come like that.Ther're allright. I told the woman I have 2 other trees like these and no they don't come like that. We left. Then my husband spotted Barn Nursery and above tells the good story. Also, I realized when I saw the trees at Barn Nursery and saw their little green buds, I realized what looked wrong at the Flowerwood. Their branches were dark and there was not one bud. Another thing, after talking with Heather from Barn Nursery I realized that the informatin I received about the oil from the other place was entirely wrong. My experience with Barn Nursery was so great. Their trees were healthy, beautiful and $30.00 cheaper.

The owner of the Barn personally helped me pick out my trees. He gave me a terrific fall discount. They called Julie to mark utilities. Two men arrived this morning to plant them. They were very pleasant, helpful and professional. They helped me decide on placement of the trees. They look great! I always prefer the Barn Nursery. Their heart is in their business.

We were very pleased with the job that they did. I think they did a very good job with the concrete. They showed up on time to do the work everyday.

OVERALL, FROM A SALES AND MANAGEMENT STANDPOINT, THEY WERE VERY ORGANIZED AND PROFESSIONAL. THE CRAFTSMANSHIP WAS ABOVE EXPECTATIONS. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THE BARN NURSERY TO ANYONE INTERESTED IN DOING ANY PATIOS, RETAINING WALLS, DRAINAGE SYSTEMS OR PLANTING.
