Jed came to my house promptly and surveyed the problem.  He explained why it would be necessary to open the wall in order to gain access to the plumbing and the flooring.  This would entail removing the ceramic tile from around the tub, the tub itself, and the ceramic tile from the floor around the tub.  He recommended, but did not push replacing the toilet and vanity, since they would have to be removed along with the floor tile.  At first I was reluctant to get new fixtures, because I liked the style and color scheme of the original bathroom.  But I knew I wouldn't be able to match the original tiles. It made sense to replace the old fixtures with more modern ones, and incorporate safety and convenience features.
Because I knew nothing about the world of plumbing and bath fixtures, I followed Jed's advice and visited Home Depot, Lowes and Menard's to get some ideas.  He taught me what to look for and what to avoid.  At HOBO I found fixtures to suit me and he came with me to pick out some needed supplies.  He also used his truck to deliver everything, saving me a $150.00 delivery fee.
It was amazing to watch the precision and care taken by Jed, Dale and Travis.  You could tell they had many years of experience, and of working together.  Everything was leveled, measured, and fitted seamlessly together.  Jed even took home the old wood molding and re-stained it to cover any scratches, so it would match the color of the new vanity!
Before they began work, Jed told me it would take eight days to complete the job.  It actually took ten days, because I was out of town for two days.  The bathroom is finished and it's beautiful.  I wish my whole house looked as good, and I wish everyone had the pleasure of working with professionals like Jed, Dale and Travis.
