My experience with this contractor was a nightmare.  He is related to someone I work with so I trusted him.  I had a few repairs that
needed to be taken care of before listing my home for sale including a hole in the outside sill of an upstairs window.  All the windows in my old home are wood and should be replaced which is something I was considering.  When shown the hole and asked if it could be repaired he stated emphatically that the window must be replaced and could not be repaired.  He then installed a window that did not match the other 15 windows.  All my other windows have 12 pane muntins - six in the top window and six in the bottom.  When I asked about the muntins he stated I could purchase them separately.  When I checked with Menards I found out that the only option available was to purchase a new window.  I also found out that this contractor installed a single hung, non Lo-E, plain window, the cheapest window you can buy, and then charged me 5 times the cost of the window  for installation.   When asked why he  would do this he replied that ordering a window with muntins would have taken 3 weeks and cost more money.  In reality he took the easy most lucrative option for him without consulting me.  I would have been open to spending more money to get what I wanted.  I would not recommend him to my worst enemy.
 

They were perfect and on time. Cleaned well, there was no sawdust where they drilled. I am very picky, and I thought they did a great job.

The project took 8 hours and involved 2 workers. The estimate they gave me on the phone was right on the money. They used building code approved conduit for running the electric and installed new switches. They were very professional and we have had no problems with any of the work performed.
