The job went good, no problem.

Dealing with Kevin was great- he took care of permits and was on time when scheduled.

Crew was friendly, hard working, and took care in cleaning up afterwards.. Fencing built on site (and cheaper than other quotes) looks great. Very satisfied.

Joe was very professional and easy to work with.  While others may claim the same, I honestly believe he would not compromise quality in any instance.  He was very busy at the time so there were a couple of times we wondered how quickly he would call us back when we had questions, but he always did in a reasonable time-frame (and we had more than our share of questions).  He enjoys what he does and works very hard.  I think we got a great value overall and would use Rutledge again.

Quote was a bit higher than another provider, Ozone Fencing. I went with Ozone after I read their reviews on Angie's List

He did a very good job, it would have been in 1999. I thought the price was a little high. We have to replace the anchor post in the wood just because they deteriorated at the bottom where they get into the ground, it was 12 years old. In the fence, we do have a lot of problems, we're sitting at the bottom of a shell so the ground is very moist. I don't know if the post were treated appropriately or I don't know if they had what they have today back in those days, I can't fault the fence company really, I don't want to. He did what we asked him to do. He's a nice guy, I'm thinking of the guy that put our fence in is probably not here anymore, he's pretty old.

Did a excellent job on removing the old fence and on installing a new fence without damaging my lawn or property.

They were much more expensive than the estimates we received, so we did not use them.

Joe came out promptly to look at the job, and then showed up a couple of days later with all the materials and equipment he needed. I was surprised that he was alone, but he dug the holes, set the posts, and re-attached the sections all in a few hours. I was happy with the work and the price. I helped a little, but Joe did all the digging and nailing.

I cannot say enough good things about Joe and Rutledge fence.  They did an excellent job and I believe I got more than I paid for.  Not only did they do a great job taking down the old fence and fixing the remaining one, but they even cleaned up materials left from a previous fencing company.  

I have used them before in November 2010 as well. I was very happy with the fence that they fixed. They fixed one section but they also fixed more than that. They fixed the section of my fence that had a gate and my gate would never latch. They re-built it so that it was mechanically correct. During the spring time when we started using the gate again, the gate would not latch again because it was too big due to the flowing. It was a family run business and one of their family members answered the call when I called them. I told her the problem and asked her one quick question which was whether the gate would shrink back down. Actually, I was not really that worried about it. I came home two days later and it was fixed. I did not want to make the drive all the way out here but just wanted to make sure that it was fine. I had no idea as to what they had done. I came home and the gate would latch. They had come and fixed it. I would not have guessed that they were going to come and fix it. They were very fast. They would do whatever one needed. They would do it quickly. They responded quickly even to the initial call that I had made to them to re-build the fences. They did not mess around as it was their very own business.

I called on a Friday looking for a quote and they said someone would be out the next day. They called about 11:00 and said they would be there in about five minutes. They came by and gave me a quote of $125 and we scheduled it for Wednesday. They called about 10:30 and were out about 5 minutes later. They installed an oversized drop rod they made at their shop and decided the latch I bought was too flimsy and suggested I return it and get my money back as they did not open it. They then ran back to the shop and got a stronger one and installed that at no extra charge. I now have a working gate that is accessable from both sides.

Everything was great, they worked quickly, were careful around the plants growing near the fence, my gate finally opens and closes without dragging in the dirt, they used much larger hinges than I had previously had and it is great to have a gate that actually latches so I don't have to prop something against it.
